Lied to, Disrespected & Patronized For (10) days my partner and I got to enjoy a beautiful 2012 Buick Verano. We noticed the tire pressure in one of the tires kept dropping, so we brought it in and were told that our sales person Steve Sheehey had been aware of that concern, and so we would need to bring it in the next day. Now it's important to note that I am disabled and wear a brace boot on my left leg to support myself while walking with a cane. I bring the car in, I am asked for the key and I go get some coffee. The next thing I know, I am asked to come in and see Dave in Financing who proceeds to tell me that the deal we signed off on cannot go through. After (2) weeks of having the car I was confused as to why? Dave tells me (in an accusatory manner) that my partner's (John) pay stub could not support the length of time he had been at on his job. Dave said he asked this question while sitting in his office the day we signed off on everything. I was no becoming increasingly upset because we made it very clear from the very beginning that John had not been in his new job long and this is why we couldn't provide a pay stub the day of the sign off. Steve, Dave, everyone was A-OKAY with this and all we were asked to do was provide his pay stub as soon as he received it. Rocky (the gentleman we called to set up the service on the tire) came back with my keys, doesn't hand them to me but places them on the desk in front of me and Dave without the car key. So now I was FURIOUS. I was asked to come in under false pretenses, rather than someone call us ahead of time and tell us there was some kind of issue with the financing. Instead I am sitting there with my boot, my personal items now locked away in the car and being asked by the guys there "can you call someone to co-sign". Right there! Right on the spot as I am processing everything that is happening. This was not right. It was absolutely SHADY and DISRESPECTFUL. To top it all off, when asked where the car went so I could gather my things, Rocky sees me in my handicapped boot yet points to a blue service shed (2) parking lots away and tells me I would find my car there. So by now I am angry, it's 90+ degrees out, I don't have my cane, my personal items, I just got my car taken away through false intentions and I when I get to the blue service shed no one there can help me find the car. There was no mention of how I would get my deposit back that I gave them in cash, no mention of giving me back all my original documents I provided (check stubs, employment verification letter, passport, etc) & basically tossed out on to Federal Highway with no way home and the loss of a car I had started to adore. What a despicable and toxic experience this was. Why go to these lengths to lie and manipulate us when Dave or Rocky could've been up front with us? Why have the car for TEN whole days before any mention of this was made? And why come at me in an accusatory way, so that Dave could wash his hands of this and not accept responsibility? Really I cannot believe this is happening. My first car purchase in years, I am doing great at my job and I can't even get a call from the manager on how I was treated. The phone system at Delray Hyundai also has continuous issues where they can't seem to figure out what's going on with it. This made it more difficult to communicate with them once I made my way back home. AWFUL More

The Perfect Car Buying Experience Since we had previously purchased a vehicle from Delray Hyundai it was a "no brainer" to return there when it was time to acquire an additional car. Since we had previously purchased a vehicle from Delray Hyundai it was a "no brainer" to return there when it was time to acquire an additional car. I called Jackie Angstadt, we discussed some of the pre-owned vehicles in the dealer inventory (Jackie directed me to the correct listings so I was looking at them as we talked). I found one that looked like the right vehicle and made an appointment to come see it. Without my asking, she reserved the car in my name so that it would still be available when we got there. In a matter of 90 minutes, we had purchased the car, finished the paperwork, the car was detailed, and we were on our way. There is no more professional sales person in the industry than Jackie and I would recommend her to everyone. David Wilde handled the paperwork efficiently, with expertise, no sales pressure, listened to our concerns and made the whole transaction a pleasant experience. More
