These guys were hit hard by the covid, and almost all the staff was out sick. So they warned me that my car was very likely not going to be done today. I have been looking at the Telluride since it was released. Just recently I've been in the market to actually purchase a car and have had a very difficult time: 1. Finding a Telluride to test drive, released. Just recently I've been in the market to actually purchase a car and have had a very difficult time: 1. Finding a Telluride to test drive, 2. Finding a dealer with a reasonable price, 3. Finding a dealer with reasonable policies that didn't require a credit pull or down payment before I even saw the vehicle. Destination Kia met that checklist and I am very pleased with my overall experience there. The only area of concern I can negatively speak about is their lack of transparency in their "market adjustment" which is basically their surcharge above MSRP. (I disagree with that practice overall, but I understand it is a product of the current market & economy.) The dealership does not disclose this fee on their website as they list their cars at the sticker value, which is not what they sell them for. When I pushed back about this, they did make a good faith attempt to offer me more for my trade and cut their "new price" by a little, essentially negating about half of the surcharge. I felt it was a good attempt to right a wrong and I chose to move forward with the purchase. Every other step in the process was seamless, easy, and pleasant, including the financing process. I'm now the happy owner of my first brand new [dream] car, a 2022 Telluride EX AWD. Thank you Destination Kia. More
