Dick Hannah Subaru

I had a great experience dealing with Sales Representative Brian Ramsdell. I can't say the same about Sales Manager "Kenny". My Wife and I had looked at a used Mitsubishi Lancer with Brian ab Representative Brian Ramsdell. I can't say the same about Sales Manager "Kenny". My Wife and I had looked at a used Mitsubishi Lancer with Brian about 1.5 weeks before we ended up purchasing it from Dick Hannah Subaru through Brian. The second time we looked at the car, we noticed that it had horizontal abbrasions on the front bumper/grill area in the "clear bra" film that protects the paint. It was apparent the the car had hit something, or had been impacted by something since the first time that we looked.at it, and we pointed this out to Brian. We didn't make a big deal out of it, as the car's price had been lowered since the first time that we looked at it. After we drove the car home after purchase, we noticed that the grille was cracked. No more than 20 minutes had elapsed from the time of purchase from the time that we noticed this damage that was the apparent result of the front end impact that this car had suffered since we first saw it at the dealership. I called Brian and couldn't get a hold of him, so I called Kenny, who was the sales manager when we purchased it. At the dealership, Kenny was cordial, albeit "phony" when money was trading hands. I was confident though, that he would work with me in repairing the grill since it had been only approximately 20 minutes from the point of sale. When I explained the situation to him on the phone, he became very demeaning towards me, and stated that Dick Hannah would not likely repair the damaged grille, especially since the price had been lowered over the past week and a half. I reminded him that I was well within my 3-day recission period and would consider bringing it back over a matter of principal if it weren't repaired, or we couldn't work something out. He then said "that's fine". This really led me to believe that he was glad that I didn't notice the damaged grille when I bought it, and made me feel really duped by him. He did say that he would check with upper management if there was qnything that he could do, and would call me back and let me know. this was at noon time on the day we bought the car. After he didn't call me back over the next 24 hours, I called Dick Hannah Subaru and asked for him, but was told he was off for the next 2 days. now I was really feeling truly let down by this guy who clearly had no intention whatsoever of calling me back, much less attempting to remedy the situation. I then called Brian and explained this to him. As expected, he was very concerned, and went right to work on it with his Sales Manager "Dave". Within hours, Brian called me back, and said that Dave had approved repairing the grille, and that he, Brian, would call me when it arrived so we could bring the car in and get the grille replaced. The grille was replaced on Thursday, May 12, 2011 as Brian arranged. As stated, we didn't ask Dick Hannah Subaru to replace the damaged clear bra on the front bumper/grille area of the car, because we were aware of it at the time of purchase, We paid $100.00 to get that replaced ourselves. I always avoid doing business with dealerships because of people who treat their customers as Kenny treated us. They act like they're your best friend when they get to suck some blood out of you, but turn on you the second that you reach out to them with a concern. Brian, on he other hand, has totally restored my belief that here do exist real Sales Representatives that are concerned about their customer's experience, and want to ensure that they are satisfied with their vehicle, as well as overall experience. I would buy another vehicle from Brian in a hearbeat. He's currently looking for a 2005-ish WRX or Legacy GT for our Son, and I truly hope that he does find one for him, as I will be totally comfortable with working with Brian again. Brian is a total professional, and even came in on his day off to consummate the deal on out Lancer. Brian is totally real Management material, as I'm confident that he would stress the importance of openness, honesty, integrity and customer appreciation to his subordinates. After weeks of research, I finally narrowed down my car choice to a Subaru Forester. I was greeted by Sam, I told him what I was there to see and he took me right to them. He answered all my questions, was quite knowledgable, and polite. After a successful test drive I was ready to buy. I had come pre-approved from my local credit union, but the interest rate left a lot to be desired. While they were working on the financing, Sam and the sales manager came out to talk to me and my mom. The difference in payments between a new car and the used car was minimal, and at a much better interest rate. They brought over a car that was still in my price range, the right color, and loaded, boy was I surprised. They gave me time to talk it over with my mom, there was no pressure just options. I drove home with a car that I absolutely love. I generally don't have services done at dealerships, because my experience in the past has been pretty dissappointing. I have to say though with the Customer for Life program, and the great service I have already received, I am looking forward to taking it back for services. More

I had been looking for a new car and gone to several dealerships before i went to Dick Hannah Subaru. He let us test drive a few different vehicles and helped me pick the perfect one! I was going to continue looking after i had visited the first time but a day after he called with an amazing offer on a 2011 Subaru Outback Pzev that i couldn't pass up! I was able to get all the add-ons I wanted for the car and when they had to keep it at the dealership for a day to add some of the add-ons i requested they gave me a rental car so i was not trapped at home. Very great service, I would recommend visiting Dick Hannah Subaru to anybody looking to buy a new or used car! More

We knew what we wanted when we entered, and Dick Hannah was able to deliver. Although there was definitely a limit to the stock available, we were able to drive a car off of the lot.
