So, the story starts with having my Ram 2500 truck sit at another dealership for two weeks, with nothing done, but that is another story! Finally, out of frustration I contacted Finlay’s Wilsonville Jeep and another dealership for two weeks, with nothing done, but that is another story! Finally, out of frustration I contacted Finlay’s Wilsonville Jeep and Ram. Here, I was put in contact with Mr. James Chamlee service advisor. He listens to me and my problem with my Ram (which is a bad turbo actuator) he says to me,” bring it in tomorrow and we will see what we can do.” Dropping off my truck the next day I meet with Jim and find him to be a truly knowledgeable and pleasant person, who presented a sincere desire to help me with my problem. This of course was a great comfort to me given I had been though a complete run a round for the last two weeks. During our meeting he did confirm that they indeed have the part, and that he would do his best to get to fix by the weekend (keep in mind, that this was Wednesday!) Leaving I thank him for his help and his efforts to assist; however, in the back of my mind I had a very skeptical thought on a weekend completion! Jim updated me on progress on Thursday and early Friday afternoon by text message (helpful.) His text on Friday he showed that they were still working on my truck, and he would keep me posted. I missed Jim’s phone call that he made Friday evening at 5:15 but his voicemail was one shocking surprise and left me dumbfounded, Steve your truck is ready and sorry we couldn’t wash it, the guy who preforms that job left at four! Wash my truck, are you serious, I was so happy just to get it fixed, and before the weekend! This is service that we used to have, this is customer care that we used to have, but now is missed in the business world! Nonetheless, it is alive and well at Findlay’s, all of which is a rare treat. My gratitude and appreciation to Findlay’s service department, especially Jim Chamlee, he is a gentleman that takes care of his customers, delivers on his word, and a person whom you can trust!
