Buying His First Car I brought my grandson to the Dirito Brothers VW dealership looking to purchase his first new car. On Sunday our first sales rep was Saul. He was ext I brought my grandson to the Dirito Brothers VW dealership looking to purchase his first new car. On Sunday our first sales rep was Saul. He was extremely helpful while we window shopped and before we left he had acquired a quote for us on the purchase of a new Jetta. We needed time to think about it. We went to lunch and decided to come back the next day. By the next morning we had decide we would purchase the Jetta. We returned to the dealership. Our sales rep, Saul, was not going to be in until later the afternoon. Not a problem. We were immediately helped by Oscar---who was just as great as Saul had been the day before. My grandson test-drove the car and loved it. We preceded with the purchase. It was painless. Oscar located the quote that Saul had obtained for us in their online file. Within 15 minutes we were fully approved as co-applicants for financing. While I had a long and positive credit history---this was my grandson's first credit application. And that included finding the car color we wanted and arranging a trade with another dealer. From there it was on to the credit manager---Ed Miller. In another 15 minutes we had signed the contract and the variety of docs that go with it----AND we were DONE!! From arriving at the dealership to finished---was less than an hour of total time. We had shopped around. The price was terrific, the financing rate was also great. And everyone we encountered was polished, knowledgeable, and friendly!! And they treated my grandson with respect and as an adult. I have purchased many cars over the years with some good and some bad experiences. Never had one that came close to this in friendliness, professionalism, and efficiency. Highly recommend this dealership!!! More

However, in regard to the customer service this time around... my wife and I weren't greeted with a "Hello" from our service adviser upon arrival - it was more like, "last name and appointment time?" Then it was a statement of "go in the office, my desk is the 4th to the right. Sit down and I'll be there in 5 minutes" Ummm, "good morning to you too!" Then when sitting at our service adviser's desk, who by the way we didn't recognize, nor have ever worked with, after several minutes of my wife and I waiting for him to introduce himself and inform us of his name, my wife finally spoke up and said, "by the way, what is your name please?!?" at which time he then introduced himself. Definitely not a bad experience all and all, but not what we've come to expect. More

I drove from Mill Valley to Dirito Bros. Derik helped me find the exact car that I wanted and helped me get a great deal. When I realized that I had not brought my second set of car keys to the dealership, he volunteered and drove to my home in Mill Valley to pick up the keys! Unbelievable service!! More
