I visited Dixie Buick/GMC for a service issue and walked out to the front line to see the new cars. I found a GMC Terrain that liked really nice. No salespeople bothered me. I approached one, Rob, to ask out to the front line to see the new cars. I found a GMC Terrain that liked really nice. No salespeople bothered me. I approached one, Rob, to ask about the vehicle and he answered all my questions. He asked if I would like to test drive it. I loved the test drive and asked if we could look at some numbers. We worked it all out right then and I was able to make a trade and drive home in my new Terrain. It was a truly great experience and I highly recommend Dixie. More
1-Star Review My experience with Dixie GMC has been extremely disappointing. I was told that my passenger-side mirror replacement would be covered under warranty. When I arrived to pick up my truck, extremely disappointing. I was told that my passenger-side mirror replacement would be covered under warranty. When I arrived to pick up my truck, I was suddenly told I owed over $1,200 for the repair. My only options were to pay half or have the old mirror reinstalled. After already waiting for hours, I felt pressured into paying half simply because I didn’t want to spend even more time there. That is not how you treat customers or honor what was originally promised. Unfortunately, this wasn’t my first bad experience. During a previous repair, the dealership failed to properly reinstall my fuse box, causing my truck to die while I was over an hour from home. I was then charged for the tow. To make matters worse, they failed to reinstall all of the bolts securing my Engine Control Module (ECM), left out a bolt on my air intake, and bent a sensor in my boost tube. The damaged sensor wasn’t replaced until my truck started throwing check engine lights and repeatedly stalled during acceleration. These are not minor oversights—they are serious workmanship and quality control issues that could have created dangerous situations. Based on my experiences, I have lost confidence in this dealership and cannot recommend them. More
