This was our 3rd camper/toyhauler and our first new purchase. We had been looking at other dealerships for the last year, locally, and in North Carolina. Even though they were obviously busy, Tina Dew took notice of us looking at a new 27' Grey Wolf Ltd and asked us if we needed any help. And so it began, the most pleasurable buying experience ever. She was most personable and professional at the same time. At closing, a couple weeks later, all of our particulars were addressed with more positive reinforcement from a staff of like minded friendly people. Arnold Smith is pure pleasure to talk to and work with. Terry Miller, the PDI service tech, was most informative and real friendly soul. The parts team was pleasant, too. The folks at Dodd's have a mutual goal and business model. They treat you like family friends that they intend to keep that way for life. I want to go camping with the whole gang. We contacted Dodd at the suggestion of family after having a frustrating experience at another dealership. I asked Dodd for a no BS price out the door for the model we knew we wanted, and Scott Hudgins having a frustrating experience at another dealership. I asked Dodd for a no BS price out the door for the model we knew we wanted, and Scott Hudgins gave me a transparent number including all taxes and fees. The number on that quote was the number we signed off on the day we towed our new Keystone Passport home. So refreshing. Dodd beat the prior dealership's price by a large margin, honoring the manufacturer's MSRP instead of inflating it artificially due to demand, and they gave us a family referral discount. Our salesman Scott Hudgins was very accommodating and flexible with us as we worked out our own financing and prepared to drive a few hours for pickup. The onsite visit made us feel safe and welcomed. The employees we interacted with indoors all wore masks or had a physical barrier in front of their desk. Paperwork and pickup were swift, and they had us out the door in a couple of hours (arrival, paperwork, walkthrough, teaching some of the features of our new RV we weren't familiar with, shopping for accessories in the store, and departure). Overall we enjoyed our experience at Dodd more than anywhere else we shopped, and we intend to continue visiting as needed, despite the drive. Highly recommended. More
