RV dealers are NOT all the same After seeing the Grand Design BH2800 at the Richmond RV show, my wife and I decided to purchase this model. It was for sale at a different dealer in Richmond, so I emailed for pricing. No email pricing, please call. At this point I started to research this dealer ( some not so glowing reviews), and I called. Got price for unit, plus delivery and dealer prep and documentation fee. This raised their price by over $2500. Now, not such a good deal. While I had shopped at Dodd RV before. (did not buy, found different model we liked better elsewhere),I wanted to buy local. Long story short, the staff at Dodd RV were friendly, courteous, and very helpful. It was a painless process. It was definitely worth a 90 minute drive. There was no " bait and switch " pricing, no surprises. If you are considering purchasing a New RV in the future, give these folks a try. You won't be disappointed. Avoid like the plague the larger dealerships like Camping World (aka the evil empire),, General RV also. Above all do your research. Read forums, read reviews of RV models and dealers, watch countless You-tube videos. Be an informed purchaser, not a victim. Once again, Grand Design RV's and Dodd RV are outstanding. EXCEPTIONAL We finally bought the RV, a Grand Design Imagine 2500RL, after 2 years of researching, visiting maybe 12 dealerships, and attending RV shows here and We finally bought the RV, a Grand Design Imagine 2500RL, after 2 years of researching, visiting maybe 12 dealerships, and attending RV shows here and in California. We first spoke with Shane back in early 2017 at Dodd RV, returning over and over until, without reservation, making our purchase this year. Shane is patient, sincere, easy going, confident, and knowledgeable. On the day we took ownership, Richard provided a detailed demonstration on hitching up to our tow vehicle and an organized thorough lesson on set up and operation of the Imagine. Tom jumped in to action, adjusting a few last cosmetic and electrical details. Back inside the sales office, Maria, Arnold and Rob, stepped up to get us through the paperwork and final decisions. Later, William gave us a few real world tips on the RV life. Hands down, without a doubt, an exceptional experience with RV professionals. More

Always the best service!! My wife and I had the pleasure of taking our Georgetown in for it’s annual Warranty Forever inspection this past Monday. When we got to the dealership My wife and I had the pleasure of taking our Georgetown in for it’s annual Warranty Forever inspection this past Monday. When we got to the dealership, I discovered that I was a week early! My appointment was not until the following Monday. Thankfully, Crystal was kind enough to honor our appointment a week earlier! By the time we went and got a bite to eat, we received a call stating the RV was ready and we could come pick it up! This is why we continue to do business with Dodd RV. Scott Hudgins was our salesman, he was never pushy about the sale but a wealth of knowledge about all trailer trailers on the market. We felt he gave us all the information we needed to make a clear decision. He was honest and told us the good and bad about the models we were looking to purchase. Arnold Smith is the Business Manager at the dealership. Even though we did not finance our camper we were given excellent rates and terms. He explained all of the warranties; additional protection products and the advantages to having the dealership do annual inspections. He explained all of the financial data in detail and provided copies of all documents to us. Before leaving we were given a thorough walk thru explaining all aspects of the set up, normal use of all features and how to winterize the camper. Last but not least we were taken to the parts department where we were guided on the necessities to begin camping. Thanks Dodd RV for a great buying experience. More
