We were given time to look around the lot and tour the trailers as we wished with direction from Scott Hudgins. Scott answered all of our questions and gave us information as requested. He worked with us to make the experience enjoyable and was able to get us the deal we wanted. The "family" atmosphere at Dodd RV is obvious and includes customers. Concerned I bought this camper with the Life Time Warranty and brought it in for the Life Time Inspection and state inspection. Couple of things. I dont know ex I bought this camper with the Life Time Warranty and brought it in for the Life Time Inspection and state inspection. Couple of things. I dont know exactly what was checked, but if the water system of any type hot or cold was checked, it was done with the bottom drain plugs and the hot water tank drain plug taken out by me and still in the same place I put them and in the same condition. The oven could not have been checked because of a towel placed on top of the burners and not moved. With the muddy condition of the outside, the inside looked as if no one had been inside or on the roof to inspect. With reguards to the outside, this camper was brought in spotless, as though it were brought when dropped off. When picked up, it looked as if were drug down a muddy road. Complete unexceptable for a camper that is only a year old in my view. I have many trucks, motorcycles, boats, and trailers that never look like that and I live down a quarter mile long rock driveway. I noticed while waiting for my camper, someone was washing the new unsold campers out front of the dealership. I would think that even the campers there for service would get the same respect. How you treat your present customers should a priority to incourage them to return. I did not get that feeling with the condition and doubt that of the inspection done to my camper. Wonderful Experience My husband and I met Jamie Dodd at the RV show when we asked for his help finding the cafeteria. We had no idea he owned Dodd’s. We weren’t sure what type of RV we wanted but after talking with him it was easier to narrow it down. Jamie Dodd even recommended we look over their used RV inventory on the lot. Jamie is as genuine and customer focused as the entire staff at Dodds Yorktown RV’s. Despite the two hour drive we chose to purchase our motor home from them. Shane and Donald were amazing to work with, always putting the customer first, we appreciated their thoroughness and sincerity. On the day we picked up our RV Richard walked us through every feature of the RV and answered all of our questions. We got to meet the gentleman that fixed a few of the small repairs on the RV (we bought used). Dean was as friendly and helpful as the rest of the Dodd team. We can’t say enough about our experience and we are thrilled with our new motor home. More
