He was friendly but not "pushy", he took the time to show us what we wanted to see, gave us his card and RV brochure then let us go without the heavy sales pressure. Due to waiting for a special order truck to tow (for a new 5th wheel), we were'nt sure when we could buy the new RV, but we already had a trip planned with our old TT RV. New truck came in less than a week before we were leaving for the trip. We live about an hour away, so I called (a couple of weeks after we were there in person), and Scott helped us work out the sales details by phone and computer. Their pricing and trade-in negotiations were very fair and I feel like I got a great deal. Then came the bad customer part...I knew I was rushing, but asked for the new RV asap for the trip we had planned. New truck came in, I was excited to get the new RV to go with it, right?! Scott, Arnold (Business Manager), Rick (Technician), Rob (Parts) and I'm sure a whole lot of other associates made it happen! In 3 days time, we made the sales deal and received our brand new, beautiful Grand Design Reflection 337 RLS on the way to a 10-day vacation. THESE FOLKS WERE AMAZING! Exceptional customer service from every single person we encountered. And it wasn't just for show, they worked hard to make sure our new RV was properly inspected and ready to go, even on such short notice. EVERY SINGLE PART of our new RV worked right from the dealer, that is a definite first for us. We took it through the paces on the 10-day outing and it was perfect. I couldn't be happier with the RV or the dealer service. More

They made us comfortable and relaxed and the manager was able to give us a great deal. During our pick up appointment, Arnold reviewed all the financial details with us and was very personable throughout the entire transaction. Each person we interacted with during the walk thru and purchasing of parts was so friendly and knowledgeable. We never felt rushed and had all our questions answered. Our Sales person, Shane was accommodating when showing available inventory at the Yorktown location...we did not receive any information from the Southside location when trying to decide on our RV and the actal one purchased was one we asked to see and not one he had listed for us within our price range even though it worked perfectly...probably just a miscommunication. Our service orientation was most appreciated for new RV owners and more helpful than just making sure the RV was clean and in working order before leaving the lot. There were a couple small things that need to be repaired such as a torn screen door, broken window blind and some interior trim needing nails...we understood because we purchased used these were items we needed to take care of and not major so we will. Overall very happy with our purchase and with Dodd RV...we went straight form the lot to the campground! More

To be fair, we looked at other dealers, but it didn't take long before we were at Dodd. They have quality units and that is obviously a huge part of which dealer you go with, but more importantly for us is the customer service. Even though we bought our first TT three years ago, they remembered us and treated us like we were family when we came back. No high pressure, no BS...just courteous, helpful, knowledgeable folks who do their job amazingly well and are extremely good at meeting a customer's individual needs. I'm one who likes to crawl all over a unit at my own speed to check out the features, workmanship, etc and Tina Dew let me do it. She spent some time giving me the basics of the Grand Design line of RVs, but then she let me go into a unit I had my eye on. I'm sure she would have hung around if I had asked, but she was astute enough to know I just wanted time to look. When it was time to talk about the deal, Mike McNeil was just as courteous and professional. I'm not normally comfortable with sales managers because I always feel like they are trying to squeeze every last dollar out of the buyer, but I never get that feeling with Mr McNeil. He works for Dodd, so he's not going to give away the store, but he's down to earth and an "honest broker"...a real pleasure to work with. Arnold Smith is another gentleman who gets rid of any doubt (if there was any) that you have picked the right RV dealer. Friendly, courteous and respectful...he led us through the final paperwork and made the process as easy and as painless as possible. Pete Foertsch led us through the delivery inspection and walk through. He obviously knows what he's talking about and was able to answer every question we had. Mr Foertsch has a quick wit and adds a small bit of humor to the experience that not only makes it enjoyable, but helps you understand why the system works like it does, not just the how it works. Overall, we had a perfect buying experience; just like our first experience. Great value. Great quality. Great customer service. Not sure we'll have a third buying experience, but if we do, we're 100% sure it'll be at Dodd. More

Terrific 1st Time RV Purchase Experience! We saved Dodd RV in Yorktown as our last stop, and needless to say, everything happens for very good reasons! We had the opportunity to gain some education through first researching online over the course of several weeks and then decided to make a decision. I had been waiting for about 15 years to talk my husband into getting an RV, so I had to find the right balance for both of us. Once we arrived at Dodd RV, we were immediately greeted by the General Manager, Michael McNeil, who took the time to show us different RV's which would meet the requirements we had in mind. We were then paired with one of the sales staff members, Scott Hudgins, who treated us extremely well and was equally as helpful. We enjoyed talking with the finance manager, Arnold Smith, who was extremely nice, very informative, and had a really easy-going personality. We never felt pressured by anyone at Dodd RV and in fact we were constantly reminded that if we ever had any questions in the future about our RV or needed help with anything, to feel free to call them or stop by any time. We certainly appreciated the introductory walk-through of our new RV and everything was well explained by the service technician on 6/30/17 (regretfully, I can't recall his name). We felt very welcome, at ease, and very much "at home" being at Dodd RV. I look forward to staying in touch with the folks at Dodd RV! More
