I was just window shopping My husband and I decided on a whim to stop by Dodd and just see what they had. I have got to say I am impressed. When we entered the lobby we were warmly greeted and even when we let them know that we were just looking, they did not brush us off as a non sale. The lovely lady at the front gave us a list of coaches and told us to take our time and enjoy. She even offered water and an umbrella because it was raining. We happened to see a travel trailer that we loved and was introduced to Scott. Scott is a gem. Again no pressure and very down to earth,Walked us through the process and introduced us to Arnold to help us with the financing and all that wonderful paperwork. We meet with Cindie in parts. And she suggested some great things that will help us with the trailer and keep our travels fun and safe. I went from window shopping to a new to me owner with no regrets and look forward to "shopping" again! More

We went to numerous dealerships and searched tirelessly on the internet looking for "the one". After wasting an entire Saturday driving over an hour to Ashland, VA (and waiting to be helped just as long) to go to one of the bigger dealerships, we decided to stop by Dodd RV in Yorktown which is ironically about 5 minutes from our home. They were only open for another hour but we thought we could at least browse the inventory. Little did we know we would stumble across everything we were looking for! When we walked in the door at 3:30 on Saturday (they close at 4:30) we were immediately greeted with a smile by Linda and walked back to our salesman, Greg. He is a no pressure salesman and listened to what we wanted and immediately took us out to look at the inventory. He spoke to us as if we'd been friends for a long time and that didn't stop after our purchase went through. Arnold in finance was also fantastic and locked us in with a great rate explaining every step thoroughly along the way. On the day of our walk through, Cindie in parts walked us through their entire store explaining all the inventory in the store and the necessities for keeping our RV in top top shape. Dan walked us through every inch of our unit showing us how to work everything and how to properly operate everything in our RV. Everything about this dealership is great! While our purchase was not without incident, we were taken care of and all the wrongs were fixed as soon as I contacted them. After speaking to the service manager, Joey, who was very accommodating and helpful even though he was trying to go on vacation, he hooked us up with Mike in the service department. Mike was TREMENDOUS and took his time showing us how to hookup and properly tow our new "toy" even though the dealership was recovering from a very busy local RV show. Never once did we feel we inconvenienced him or anyone else for that matter. Our salesman, Greg, also rode with us to the storage facility where needed to temporarily store our unit and helped my boyfriend maneuver the RV since it was his first time towing something that large. I cannot say enough about the quality of service we've received. Each time I walk in the door I'm greeted by name and they truly do treat you as a friend! Don't waste your time going anywhere else!! More

Cindie Merritt in the parts department walked us through the store and gave a very informative explanation of the parts that are available in the store. She made sure that we got the right add on equipment for our camper and provided personal experiences of the equipment that she had used. Pete gave us a great introduction to the camper. He took the time to walk us around the outside and the inside stopping to explain the features of the camper ensuring that was understood what the feature did and that we understood how to use it. Overall we are very pleased with the service that we received at Dodd RV and we will recommend them to all our friends who are looking to purchase an RV. More
