I couldn't imagine a more excellent experience! I've purchased many homes, vehicles, timeshares, etc. in my lifetime and not one of them even come close to my experience at Dodd RV. From the minute I've purchased many homes, vehicles, timeshares, etc. in my lifetime and not one of them even come close to my experience at Dodd RV. From the minute I walked in the front door until the minute I left on my second and final visit for the purchase of my Travel Trailer, I was catered to, smiled at, educated and offered the BEST service ever. I wasn't treated like a potential sale, but as if I were a lifetime customer and friend. During the first setting with Scott last Saturday, he actually listened to my plans for what I wanted to do with the new Trailer, so when I came in today to finalize the purchase and go through the tour of the parts and service area, sit down with the finance guy, and even the walk-thru person, they were prepared to answer questions pertaining to MY intended use of the RV, not just standard RV answers to pacify me so they could move on to the next customer. I have a disability and was concerned about coming in for the final signing and then walk-thru of the RV before delivery. However, not to worry, they had stools and chairs at every turn for me and even had a special chair outside my Trailer so that I could sit and video the walk-thru, which Ricky moved for me around the Trailer as we went. Amazing! I could write a book about this dealership but I guess this isn't the right place. I can honestly say, I would refer anyone to these guys in a heartbeat. You won't regret it. More

Excellence Sales and Service I am very late in posting this, but I really want to share my experience. I bought my camper from Scott Hudgins in 2011. I looked for almost three yea I am very late in posting this, but I really want to share my experience. I bought my camper from Scott Hudgins in 2011. I looked for almost three years before finally sellling my popup and moving into a travel trailer. Scott was so patient and I never felt pressured. I looked at many campers and went to many shows. When I finally found the right camper and was ready financially, Scott was there and made the whole process very easy! A wonderful no pressure experience! Fast forward 3 years in 2014, I am camping at Newport News park and when packing up and hooking up the camper, I raised my jack too far and could not hitch up. My tongue jack broke. Nervous and exhausted, Joey and Pete from the service department came to my rescue at the campsite and replaced my tongue jack! What a super group of people and service! Beginning of a new adventure! We are from Pa. and while visiting our family at Fort Eustis we stopped in at Dodd just to look at RV'S with no immediate plans to buy although since We are from Pa. and while visiting our family at Fort Eustis we stopped in at Dodd just to look at RV'S with no immediate plans to buy although since we've been retired it has been an interest of ours. We were shown all that we asked to see and took the information home with us. After discussing it with each other we decided to buy and two months later we closed the deal at Dodd's and are looking forward to seeing the country while visiting our children. Had a Rockwood mini lite and liked it but it was just too small so we went back and got a bigger one for the family to travel with us. Everyone at the dealership is absolutely wonderful. Went in last Saturday and looked around and ended up going to about 5 more dealerships and just did not feel at home like we did with everyone at Dodd, so we ended up coming right back a couple of days later and finding what we wanted.
