First off the price wasnt even all that great it was only ok but liked the vechicle. I did have a better chance going to Sterling McCall. Secondly I was practically forced into (which is my fault I should have walked away) paying for a gps tracker they place in the cars. I couldn’t care less about a stupid gps tracker and I asked them to remove the fee and they kept telling me they could do nothing about which is a lie because after I read the documentation it wasn’t required and I should not have signed. They also tried placing a $2000 recon fee on the vechicle which they then waived as a tactic to get me to think I was getting a deal. All I wanted was to buy a vechicle and leave. I realized then that Don McGill has a totally horrible rating on Yelp and I’m not surprised and I’ll definitely be spreading the word not to buy from them under any circumstances. More

The only negative is that we waited over a hour to see our finance manager and 2 days later, the paperwork is still not complete. Our stress level has gone way up. More

Service (Make Ready) Disappointment The process of buying my new car was wonderful, easy and stress free. However, I was promised a buffing, detailing, tinted windows, etc. I dropped off my car, was able to get a rental and off to work I went. I received a call stating that my vehicle was ready for pick up...GREAT, right? Well I when I got to the dealership, they were unable to locate my vehicle, then after 25 mins of waiting it was finally “discovered” due to “so many black cars that needed service” that day. The guy walks me out to my car only to find out that they did NOT tint my windows as promised bcs later in the day I received a phone call asking if there was tape blocking me from putting down the windows!!! When I called the “make ready” girl back, she tells me she was confused as well and that I could bring my vehicle back YET AGAIN!! But why, to be lied to about the tinting again? This was a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience with Don McGill considering how pleasant the car buying experience was. It seems as though they need better service people! More

My first car buying experience was awesome I knew exactly what I wanted walking into the dealership and left with my brand new car, not feeling like i got ripped off at all. The finance department told me of all the things I could add on and when I politely declined, they didn’t bring it up again and try to press me to spend more money. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would shop there again!! More
