"My two year relationship at Don Thornton VW service &parts. "

Let me start out by saying that I do not trust many dealerships. I usually prefer a local garage if I can’t fix something. I own three VW turbo diesel vehicles. Over the last two years I have developed a relationship with the service department that is very important to me. John the service manager and Matt the lead tech have more than earned my respect and trust. My early experience at don thorton led me to believe I was being lied to. I was not happy. After all nothing is cheap about a VW repair where ever you go. The service manager and the lead tech Matt took me back to the car and proved their case. Contrary to my impression They had gone out of their way to make my situation work! Then given the entirety of the information I realized the type of folks I was working with. Just hard working, honest, customer oriented service professionals. I not only was was happy but I return again and again. John is an excellent service manager. Who’s views on customer service is what I think we all wish everyone’s was. I once had traveled out of town in a remote area and after a VW of America upgrade caused a fault in the system Doss from service and a tech on a Saturday helped me to figure out what was going on and how to compensate for it. They didn’t have to do that. Some may say they shouldn’t have but my wife and young kids sure appreciated it. I love my VW TDI’s and John let me know on one of my service visits they were fixing the TDI emissions buy back cars and they were for sale again. I bought another VW TDI I. January. I have had great experience with parts, service and sales but if were not for John, Curtis, Doss, of service I would never have given sales or parts the chance. "Stranded on 169!"

My wife had her 2014 Passat in for a recall and service on Thursday morning. The car had begun stalling randomly or losing power briefly & she expressed concern to the service writer that they check fuel filter & pump as I had suggested. They gave the car a clean bill of “health”, after supposedly running diagnostics on it. That SAME AFTERNOON, it stalled again less than 3 miles from our home. I called & they said they couldn’t fit it into their schedule until Monday. The car started again, so I drove back home & switched vehicles, ready to wait out the weekend & take it in on Monday. NOW, it’s Friday, ONE DAY after she had the car in at Don Thornton, and I’m waiting for a wrecker because it is now about 4-5 miles from home and WILL NOT START!!!

Please convey my Sincerest of Thanks to "Curtis Reynolds, Service Consultant" and the floor shop Staff (Matt) on the way both Curtis, Matt and their Staff quickly managed my Canadian 2015 VW EOS blown Turbo crisis (Gateway Valve?) in June 2018. Dedicated Sense of Urgency, Attention to Detail with a Stellar performance that delivered a quick turnaround. Courteous and Respectful. I have owned 4 VWs during my lifetime and I must say I have never been treated this Good regarding VW Customer Service... Thank You Gentleman for your Valued Assistance and Top Drawer performance. "Best dealership in the Tulsa Metro area! "

We brought our Passat in for an oil change and we were super impressed. While we were sitting in the lobby, the mechanic (Tanner) texted us a detailed video of the inspection from the garage. Very cool! Doug, the CSR, was friendly, and professional. We love this location! They always exceed our expectations in quality & customer service!

We brought our 2013 in for service to fix a recall at 2pm. Though we were 30min early, they were beyond thoughtful and professional and got our car done FAST. We also had a couple of questions off the subject and Doug went out of his way to get us the answers we needed. Will I be bringing our vehicle back when service time rolls back around, an unequivocal YES. Do I recommend Don Thornton VW especially their service department, again an unequivocal YES. Air conditioning work done on my 2004 VW Touareg was excellent. It really worth the investment which enhanced my safety on board because I don't have to worry anymore with foggy windshield during winter or when raining. The service team kept me informed on every detail that was going on on my car. Thus, the work was done on timely manner.
