Arrived at 10:30am for 11am reservation. Got us a Lyft to the mall and back... Easy and convenient. They are professional and nice. They texted everything to us that they recommended but some recommendations were not clear so I had to get clarification or web-research. Simple things like tire rotation was recommended but we just installed 4 months prior but didn't say if balancing was included (was not). We didn't do. Also recommended an alignment but that too was covered 4 months prior. We also didn't do as it was not pulling and tire wear looks fine. Also, they recommended water pump replaced but when I researched it on Acura's website, stated only if driving in extremely hot (110F+) or extremely cold (20F-) which neither applies. I get being proactive but not at 55k miles. Lastly, they missed the car wash. More
I purchased my first MDX from Esserman in 2001 and its still going well, so naturally I wanted to buy my 2022 MDX from Esserman. I told the salesman that I would be exporting it and could they assist with still going well, so naturally I wanted to buy my 2022 MDX from Esserman. I told the salesman that I would be exporting it and could they assist with the paperwork I was told that would not be a problem as International was part of their name and thousands of their vehicle had been exported I therefore assumed , wrongly, that they could help with the export. It then turned out that they could not help me in any way and I would have to insure it and then I could do whatever I wanted with the car. Covid prevented me from coming to Miami to sign the paperwork, nobody else could sign as only the sender of the purchase price could sign . This went on for weeks, many emails went unanswered and phone calls not returned. What should have been a pleasurable experience turned out to be a nightmare. I finally got permission to fly to Miami to get insurance and sign the paperwork. Arrangements were made to pick up the vehicle but Thanksgiving Holiday delayed the pickup. Then the Port of Miami closed to the delivery of anymore vehicles. Currently it is still at the dock waiting for the backlog of vehicles to be cleared. Believe me if I knew then what I know now I would never have purchased this vehicle. More
Esserman acura dealership is very impressive. I went for my maintenance and as I am sitting in the waiting area my salesman Daniel recognized me and said hello.
