I recently purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4x4 from Douglas Jeep in Venice, FL and I could not be more pleased. My family lives in Florida so I asked them to check around for the exact Jeep I was looking for - they found it sitting on the Douglas Jeep lot in Venice, FL. Ken Wells, a sales representative, was my first introduction to the Douglas Jeep dealership. Ken was so impressive not only because he was passionate about the new Jeep Grand Cherokee, but because he knew EVERYTHING there was to know about the vehicle. He was able to answer all of my questions and gladly answered frequent phone calls from me. I made the trip down to Venice and was initially disappointed becuase I did not qualify for some of the discounts that were listed on their website. Being the class act that they are, Ken Wells, the sales manager, and even the owner worked with me to make purchasing the vehicle possible. I came in for service on my leased van. My lease was going to be up soon so I walked in and met Ken. He was very nice and no pressure. I gave him my info and I left. I got a call from Peter, the sales manager, seeing if there was anything he can do. I told him this will be the first time I bought a car from a dealership where I didn't know anyone. He was really nice and we shared some laughs so I set a time for my husband and I to come in. Ken showed us a new van. I really felt that he and Peter went to work for me, getting us a good price and payment. When it wasn’t working out for the new van they showed us a used van that was owned by the dealership owner. Liking it and the terms, we bought the van. We had our three year old with us. Everyone was very nice and even played with her. I felt comfortable and I would recommend Douglas Jeep to anyone looking for a vehicle. More

Town&Country van in for servicing before end-of-winter-season return trip up north from Florida. All wiper blades replaced, but ... one of 3 blades did not properly lock into position ... th end-of-winter-season return trip up north from Florida. All wiper blades replaced, but ... one of 3 blades did not properly lock into position ... this was not obvious. No rain experienced until two months later on trip up north. Pennsylvania Turnpike under construction ... nowhere to turn off or pull over in sudden severe and then continuing rain. Noticed minor scoring of windscreen from wire stiffener that runs parallel to rubber blade to provide stiffness. Reason: since it wasn't into position, blade assembly was fraction of inch too long, and was bumping into the opposite blade, thus bending the tip (hence the wire stiffener)slightly. Faxed Douglas Jeep. Explained problem. They said bring it in when next in area. Although our return to Florida was not for 6 months, Douglas Jeep accepted my explanation for the scoring, even though there was no direct evidence of who had caused the problem. They agreed that the only solution was to replace the windscreen glass, which they did, at no charge to me. The work was very quickly done,right at my own home, with excelletn quality and service. The mark of a top-notch organization is what they do when there's a problem, and how they handle it. Douglas Jeep fixed this problem, and have implemented corrective action to ensure no such recurrence. We definitely recommend this company for excellent people, great follow-up, and for exhibiting concern and care for the customer. More
