I was interested in a new vw jetta and I was seeing that douglas vw had great reviews on this website... Now im from Staten island and I have a Vw dealership locally but me being in sales and knowing how car sales can be a bad experience, I wanted to enjoy my purchase so I decided to come to douglas and get myself a great deal at a highly recommended dealership. When I got to douglas I was greeted by a gentleman named Tito, very nice guy that sat in the front of the showroom. He asked me a few questions on what I was looking for and we sat down to take some info from me. We went on a test drive on the jetta and we came back to the dealership and tito showed me the service department, even though he knew that I wasnt going to service my car there. After starting the process of negotiating I was expecting to go through the hussle and bussle with a manager and stuff, but it was very different their. Tito came back to me with very nice pricing and I ask for a few more dollars off and before you know it we were doing paperwork... I was very pleased with their service but most importantly, tito professionalism. I would recommend tito and douglas to anyone I know looking for a VW. More

I recently purchased a pre-owned Jetta from Douglas VW. From the moment we stepped into the dealership David Suchocki provided us with great service. It was the third dealership I visited that day and it w From the moment we stepped into the dealership David Suchocki provided us with great service. It was the third dealership I visited that day and it was the first time that I didn't feel pressured to buy a car, especially one that I didn't want. Dave knew we were there to buy a car, we told him what we were specifically looking for and he made sure to stick within those guidelines. What impressed me most about him was that he was able to maintain a friendly yet professional approach without ever once being pushy. Even though the car was not ready for pick up when I would have liked due to it not being cleared by the mechanic, Dave kept me in the loop at all times and quickly replied my texts. There was an issue that came up with my insurance so Dave called the company and was able to take care of the problem. He even drove all the way to my house to drop off the Temporary license plates despite me living very far from the dealership. I was very impressed with his customer service. If any of my friends ever mention wanting to purchase a car, whether new or used, I'll definitely recommend Douglas VW and tell them that they'll be in good hands with Dave. More

Im a local customer who like to try to make purchases in town if possible and of course as long as customer service is good... Well Douglas VW did just that, from the beginning of walking into the dealersh town if possible and of course as long as customer service is good... Well Douglas VW did just that, from the beginning of walking into the dealership being greeted by Tito to having him sit down with me and figure out what exactly I am looking for in a car, to a very nice extensive test drive onto the highway and back locally... He also showed me the service department which was average but, he said words that stuck with me... Such as although we don't have the big screen TV and fancy lounge area, what we do have is outstanding customer relations and making sure that the customer is always taken cared of... Made sense, I guess if im looking for a place to have a coffee and watch the news I can go to Starbucks... Well after driving the Passat, and having tito give me a great price without having to go back and forth, I made the deal...
