Without the video I probably would have been wary, because of the low mileage. But clearly they needed to be replaced. Service department ignored potential safety issue I took my car in as I was getting an error message. The diagnosis was that a small plug on a critical safety sensor (which sits in the front bumper ) I took my car in as I was getting an error message. The diagnosis was that a small plug on a critical safety sensor (which sits in the front bumper ) had been impacted and snapped off. The position of this plug would make it almost impossible for anything to hit it with any force, so I asked if they had inspected the part to see if it could possibly be defective. I was shocked when the service manager said "who would pay for that type of inspection, thats not our job,". Typical dealer, only caring about who is going to pay them vs. peoples safety. More
