came to Dowling Ford in Cheshire when I went on line to schedule a recall service. While I was making an appointment there was a special deal offered for a free oil change and tire rotation it indicated $7 schedule a recall service. I’m a senior citizen so it seemed like a good deal as I have been looking for a new Ford Dealership to use and this add brought me in. During the service evaluation they never told me in advance that the service was not as the add indicated. Only after they had my vehicle did they tell me about this. They also recommended I change the air and cabin filter I had told them to do for $190 until the bait and switch with the oil change. I then told them no I’ll pay for the oil change. I did speak with your service manager (Jordon Boots) about this concern. He was very disrespectful he indicated it’s not like Dowling Ford is a food bank, like I needed to use a food bank what an ugly statement to make and smiled while stating it. I left there feeling horrible the way he spoke of me. If this is how you treat new potential customers, seems a strange way to gain them. I will be sending this same communication to Ford corporate customer service to let them know how I was treated as three time Ford F150 purchaser. I was very impressed with your service advisor Andrea Piccorillo(997). But your service manager Jordon Boots is very disrespectful and lacks proper communication and shouldn’t judge people because they complain. I suggest he could use some proper communication and empathy management training. I was in customer service for over 25 years and realize how difficult service can be, but I never pre judged people or made them feel like they were getting over. Dowling Ford has a very small town dealership feel to it which I prefer over the corporate “high pressure” dealerships out there. Scheduled an appointment to come buy a car. Confirmed that I was coming day of. Both myself and my partner took the day off of work and drove nearly 2 hours one way. Literally 1 mile away from the dealership they called me to say that they sold the car. Extremely unprofessional. Classic scummy car dealership. Don't waste your time here because they clearly don't respect it. More
After reading all the great reviews about Dowlling Ford I decided to go there to order my Bronco Sport. So glad I did the experience was wonderful, NO pressure. They are very friendly and honest. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST BUYING EXPERIENCE IN MY 60 YEARS ON EARTH ! I'm naturally a somewhat skeptical person, "don't expect a lot & you'll never be disappointed" is my motto, but Dowling Ford & their team o EARTH ! I'm naturally a somewhat skeptical person, "don't expect a lot & you'll never be disappointed" is my motto, but Dowling Ford & their team of down to earth professionals went miles & miles beyond my greatest expectations in #1 - ordering exactly what we wanted in our new Bronco Big Bend, #2 keeping us informed during the LONG build wait (it was a Bronco after all !) & finally #3 making the delivery day fast, easy, & most importantly enjoyable! I'll work with actual family owned over corporate "family " any day. While the "big boys" are charging thousands $$$ over MSRP & calling it market value adjustments after your vehicle shows up, Dowling Ford kept their word WITHOUT me having to ask for it in writing, I was just that comfortable with them. Thanks Beth, Dan, & Asher for the wonderful experience, looking forward to doing it again when my Maverick shows up ! More
My wife bought a 2017 Jeep Patriot here. We got a great deal, as in there words, they are off the beaten path so have to lower their prices to be competitive. We worked with Dan Janus, and he was friendly, nice and helpful all the way though the transaction. They have low fees and do not pressure at all, no haggling needed, the price is already as low as they go. Overall we had a pleasant transaction, and the only thing I would say is poor Dan appears overworked and underpaid. At times he was a little slow to respond to emails/texts, but not for trying, working 10 hour days with no lunch. We got there in the end, viewed the car on Friday and drove it off the lot on Tuesday. Perhaps October is just their busy season. More
