I bought a brand new car here less than a year ago & have had two major repairs covered under warranty to the car. Alex who received & monitored my cars repair was good, but the constant horrible communicati had two major repairs covered under warranty to the car. Alex who received & monitored my cars repair was good, but the constant horrible communication from Tanya making the appointment Monica (Service Manager). Then, I inquired with the sales department just see what I needed for a trade. This was another horrible experience worse than the first. I 1st spoke to Evelyn over the phone who stated she was a sales rep. She assured me she could assist me, but I’d have to come down there. She gave me her cell number we texted u til I arrived, only for her to never appear & be told she’s not a sales rep she only makes an appointments. So she lied. I ended up dealing with Lisa, who before I had given her check stubs or anything brought a manager named Hasam over. He came screaming at me from one cubicle away. My kids were scared. He was aggressive, threatening, unprofessional, a bully, anti black, & disrespectful . He needs to be fired he’s an absolute liability to Hyundai. He literally said “Hi how you doing? Not good, yeah yeah we know. What do you want? You’re coming in here giving me an ultimatum! Im not going to do that! “ He went on having this conversation with himself because every time I started to talk he’d aggressively talk over me! I asked Lisa who is this man? He screamed he was the floor manager. I asked Lisa what’s his name? He screams Hasam! I asked Lisa is there another manager I can deal with? She said “No not tonight.” I asked what about tomorrow. He said “It’s me. I’m here all day tomorrow! You want to make appointment somewhere else or with another manager fine! Yeah schedule her for someone good, fine!” He stormed off. I asked Lisa is this how he handles all your customers? She said “No”. I said “So this is not standard?” She said “No”. Shortly after I just left because my kids were so scared & shaken up, we left for our safety. I will never return to Downey Hyundai for any reason because it’s disgusting they employee people like this. More
