I feel very lucky to be writing this review-- thanks to Downey Hyundai, I'm the proud new owner of an amazing car! From beginning to end my experience with this dealership was incredible. I got to work with two salesmen, Abraham and Jordan, and they both exceeded my expectations. Abraham met me bright and early on his one day off (to accommodate my schedule), and expedited a car they just got in so I would have a chance to test drive. It was a used car, definitely less costly than the majority of their inventory, and not once did he try to steer me towards spending more money. He made me feel comfortable and like we were on the same team; plus he was very knowledgable about the cars history, features, warranty they would provide me, and what to expect if I decided to purchase. What I was nervous about-- can I afford this at the end of the day? When it came to talking numbers, Abraham was above board and open to listening to me. Abraham, and the managers, were willing to look at the research I had done and negotiate a price where everyone is happy. Throughout the negotiation process I felt heard and valued. I needed some time to think over their final offer, and they gave me that time without any pestering or pushing. When I decided to move forward with the deal, I got to work with Jordan who is also very helpful and kind. He answered every text and call he got from me with questions about payment, helped me find all the correct paperwork they would need, and then made sure I left with the car in perfect condition. For example-- it didn't have floor mats, and he made sure I left with a nice pair without me asking. I also got to work closely with Ravi, he is an expert on all the contracts and paperwork and was great at explaining everything I signed. There is nothing better than a friendly face to help a monotonous process be enjoyable. Sorry for the novel, but I am blown away by the level of care I received. Sargon was awesome! I initiated a price quote through Auto Trader. Received a called in less than 5 minutes. Alejandra got me in contact with Sargon right away. Little to no communication from service department. I had to personally go to the dealership to get any answers due to no return calls. After 4 months of having my vehicle it was returned completely fi I had to personally go to the dealership to get any answers due to no return calls. After 4 months of having my vehicle it was returned completely filthy and not washed. I also had to return the car twice due to engine light turning on. Very disappointed with service. Never had this issue with previous service manager Jaclyn. Also went online to complain and was assured someone would reach out within 24hrs. Still have not received a call. More
