This dealer makes it a point to install unnecessary “accessories” that they insist are already installed and non- negotiable. The itemization of the accessories are: $1995.00 for Cilajet, $1495.00 for “accessories” that they insist are already installed and non- negotiable. The itemization of the accessories are: $1995.00 for Cilajet, $1495.00 for Lojack (a completely unnecessary tracking device), $1095.00 Invisishield, $499.00 Footprint, $399.00 Nitro (stupidly expensive air for the tires). These unnecessary add-ons add up to a price tag of over $5000. My in high-demand vehicle was also priced at $5000 over MSRP. Add these terrible accessories and that’s a $10,000 overcharge. If these things were not insulting enough, the finance manager Abdul Ferozy, was insulting toward me about not wanting to purchase the Toyota extended maintenance plan, aggressively telling me I was stupid for not purchasing it. When I got home, I looked though the paperwork and realized the accessories included completely negotiable and totally useless warranties through a company called Portfolio Services. I called Portfolio to inquire about warranties and cancel them. Portfolio told me I had purchased these warranties: Everdrive for $399, Code/ Etch for $99, LoJack for $108, Film/ Bronze Package for $89 and Cilajet + extra interior protection $182 + $50. Sheesh. The experience all felt very insulting. Portfolio told me I could cancel the warranties through the dealership. The dealership lied and said the warranties were inextricably tied to the accessories and could not be cancelled. Terrible, dishonest, money-grubbing practices on the part of this dealership. I will tell everyone to stay far away. More
