I was looking to purchase a black 2012 Mercedes GLK from “Downtown Toyota-Subaru of Oakland” and was told I could have a certified mechanic come and inspect the vehicle, so I payed $170 to have a mechanic s “Downtown Toyota-Subaru of Oakland” and was told I could have a certified mechanic come and inspect the vehicle, so I payed $170 to have a mechanic schedule the appointment with the dealership and inspect the vehicle. The appointment was made for 11/22/21 and the dealership agreed, when the mechanic arrived they asked him to wait had him sitting around for 30 min and then told him no you can’t look at the vehicle, so they then rescheduled for 11/23/21 and a different mechanic from the same company showed up 11/23/21 and they did the same thing and refused to let him inspect the car. This was after I myself along with both mechanics were told it was okay to do the inspection, therefor I ended up having to pay $50 fee for their error and was never able to have the car inspected. This dealership is shady and obviously is selling janky cars. The Manager named JR. is the one who turned both mechanics down after waisting all of our time. Definitely would never buy a car from this dealership. Ever. Who’s knows what kind of broken down vehicles they’re selling, not to mention the don’t offer the carfax reports either. More

The team at the service center has been great, keeping me in the loop on maintenance so my Toyota is up and running strong with no major problems. The team is friendly and seems knowledgeable.
