We called alot of daelerships and Folger Kiea stood out from the rest because of the luck of walking in and meeting Brian Purser right from the entrance door. He was very helpful from the get go. I wanted a Kia Soul but I wanted certain things and a certain color. Of course what I wanted was nowhere in site in the southeast region. I told Brian that he would be the salesperson that I would purchase from no matter what. Having had experience of all types with car salesmen including working with them over the years, Brian was a breath of fresh air. He listened to everything I asked about and said I wanted and from that point forward we moved on for the search of my vehicle. I wouldve waited for however long it took because I wanted to work with this young man. He is extremely kind and patient. From the beginning I believe the thing that made him different from anyone else that I had dealt with was that he was sincere and honest. He never made a comment that I didnt appreciate. His honesty showed through and I really appreciated that about him. Brian found my car in a matter of a couple of weeks from the beginning to the end and I am thrilled with my new Soul. I absolutely love it. I will go there for my service in the future and any extra equipment that I would add on I will do it through him. He has made a customer for life and I will send everyone to him if they are searching for a vehicle. He made the dreaded car dealership visit one of pure ease and enjoyment. The finance manager Marcus was a very nice and helpful individual as well. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone who is in the search of a used or new vehicle. The experience with Brian has changed my view of purchasing a vehicle from a dealership. He was truly a pleasure to deal with. More
My wife and I were out looking for a replacement car and "dropped in" on the dealership. We were greeted by Kevin and had a short disucssion of what we were looking for. We purchased a 2012 Kia Soul from Kia South last weekend. Our salesman was Brian Purser. He was friendly and not to pushy. We made the purchase on the second visit to the dealership. On the first visit I made it clear I was just looking and wasn't going to walk out of the dealership with a new car. He didn't push the matter too much like some salesmen which I thought was nice. When determining a final sales price Brian showed me the dealer invoice with the dealer price for the car and the dealer price for all options. His figures matched mine. The average consumer can get these figures off the internet and dealers know it. They're still going to try to make extra money with undercoating and finish protection but this has been the case for years. During the finance part of the purchace they're going to show you all the extended warranty plans and blah blah blah. Do yourself a favor and think about this before going to the dealership because this will add a significant amount to the purchase price and take more time hagling over the cost. I rated the overall experience good instead of great only because it took over 4 hours to complete the transaction (including test drive). This has been the casewith the last 3 car purchases I've made (at other dealerships). Kia Folger South washed the car and FILLED IT WITH GAS before handing over the keys! Mike More

He was very knowledgable and calm throughout the entire process. There was definitely a positive air about him that we felt right off. There were some hiccups in our process, not due to dealer or Brian, but he made them so smooth and worked hard to satisfy our needs at the time. We have already started to refer people to Folger South, Brian in particular. We even still have Brian on the hunt for us for trade-in number two! Overall a wonderful car buying experience. More
J Wallace took the car-buying experience to a whole new level. From the time I contacted him through email until the final delivery, he made the process as painless as possible. When we left the dealership I was confident that I knew all the details about our new vehicle and how to use them. He even assisted in setting up the bluetooth for our cell phone. As far as the numbers, he worked tirelessly to get us to a payment within our budget, and even came in under-budget. J, I can't thank you enough. For those of you looking for a recommendation....I'm going in to trade my second car today!! More
Brian Purser of Folger KIA South contacted me after my husband made an internet inquiry regarding the Forte. Although other dealerships had indicated we should sell our current vehicle rather then use it as a trade in, he suggested we have them appraise it. When we arrived at Folger, Brian offered us coffee as we went over the paperwork. The company provided us a very fair trade in offer on our vehicle. The finance dept. was courteous and informative. While we were finalizing the sale, Brian had the car filled with gas so it was ready to be driven off the lot. We very much appreciate the efforts he made to make our Forte purchase an easy experience. I will definitely recommend Folger KIA South to anyone interested in buying a car. More
I was very pleased with my overall experience with Folger Automotive. The sales associate, Darol Ramsey was very professional and a pleasure to work with. Although I did not buy a GMC product he still seem Automotive. The sales associate, Darol Ramsey was very professional and a pleasure to work with. I was also comfortable dealing with the Sales Manager and felt the process and overall price/trade in was fair for both of us. I leased a 2012 Kia Optima SX (Loaded) from Ricardo Espinal at Folger Kia South in early January. Ricardo worked very hard to get me the best price for the car I wanted, while offering other solutions all along the way. When he knew I was only interested in one specific trim/package combo...he made it happen well within my budget. He had a great price compared to others,and he was extremely enjoyable throughout the process, very friendly and knowledeable. 6 weeks later, I decided I needed a larger vehicle for my growing family's needs - I was thinking of trading in the Optima after just 6 weeks! Absurd...I know. Obviously though I was not considering it that seriously as I did not want to get killed on my lease transfer....I'm not a fan of throwing money away. However, I mentioned this idea casually to Ricardo when he was checking up on my satisfaction level (Another plus). He immediately went to work crunching numbers and getting creative. Ricardo made the process so easy and painless I was amazed. 3 days later, Ricardo rolled me into an Acadia Denali that he had to find off of a lot 4 hours away from Charlotte! I had zero leverage in this crazy scenario so I thought for sure I would lose...once again I compared prices and Ricardo's was most competitive. Ricardo is an absolute joy to buy from, he goes the extra mile and always gets you the most competitive price out there. He did so for me twice in 6 weeks. I've purchased/leased several vehicles over the years and this is the only time I've thought enough of my experience to write it down. More
