Hello, my name is Jared and this was my car buying experience at Duval Ford. I started the day out at Auto Nation Ford in Orange Park and left the dealership due to being told over the phone things th experience at Duval Ford. I got to Duval Ford and was immediately greeted and brought to a sales representative which was Mr. Tino Lebron Jr, he was very helpful and worked with me every step along the way. He was easy to talk to and I did not feel any pressure at all I didn't feel he cut any corners or covered anything up to make the sale, he made sure he explained everything in detail and put it all out on the table. Tino was very knowledgeable of each vehicle I asked about and he always had an pleasing answer to each of my questions. He knew my budget and did his best to match it. He was very honest with what I could afford and took his time in making sure he would find the truck to fit my budget. When I thought all hope was lost and once agin I'd be leaving a dealership without a new truck due to my budget Tino introduced me to a great truck which was the F-150 STX. He did everything he could go get me a great deal and a fair offer on my trade in. Tino along with James Saale and Matt Tudor Jr got me into a great truck which I love, It is a very good truck for me to start out in and at a fair price. I highly recommend Duval Ford as a dealership and for a pleasant car buying experience and if you do end up in Duval Fords parking lots definitely ask for Tino to make your car buying experience more honest and fun. This is my very first car I bought at a dealership and I was very pleased at level of service and respect and I really felt I was a valued customer. More

I am only writing this here because I checked these reviews before I came down and they played into my decision to drive so far, so I am kinda shocked at my experience. I drove from pretty far away, I had scheduled a test drive of two specific cars. I was told to look for Jose when I got there. I arrived about an hour earlier than I had scheduled so Jose was not available, which is fine. Despite the fact that I had confirmed with them earlier THAT DAY that both cars were there, found out that one had been lent out to one of the boss's friends. The other car had such had alignment issue you had to keep correcting the path of the vehicle on the test drive. In addition to that there was some kind of problem with the engine or transmission, so that the steering wheel was vibrating while the car was sitting still. (This is the 2006 Element EX with 93k miles, so you don't waste your time) I thought they must not realize this, because they have a service department so I would have thought this would have been something they would have addressed, I mean I have not seen anything that bad at a dealership before and that is pretty much why I'd go to a dealer rather than a smaller lot. I told the sales guy and he was really not impressed with the problems. I asked about the other car I had driven all the way there to see and he explained that it was loaned out. I wasn't rude about it because I doubt my sales guy had anything to do with that and it was fairly obvious he was not able to address the problems with the car but I don't know why everyone else is raving about the place, maybe they were all looking at new cars, and maybe this is not one of those places that does any kind of work on the used cars it sells? The car was also pretty dirty on the outside for a car at a dealership, but I wouldn't have held that against them if it weren't for the other things. The sales guy, he was very nice, but he could not negotiate price and the car had some serious issues. I was there to buy, I mean I arranged everything with my bank and I called this dealer ahead of time to ensure that I would be able to make this payment the way I was going to and to let them know that I was looking to buy. So I am sure that they will write me off and say that I should have done more to make sure the other car was there or something or I should have done something about their car with the alignment issue, but I don't really know what else to do other than arrange a test drive, arrange a method of payment, confirm with them that they can take that method of payment and then confirm on the day of that the cars are there and finally show up ready to buy. And just so anyone else looking at these cars knows, I am posting this here, because if you are looking at these cars it is likely that you are also doing a little driving to get to them. Oh and the service manager fed me some line of crap about how no one really targets these Elements for stealing their catalytic converters, that maybe some 'foreigner' could slip up under the car and take it but he could assure me these cars were not targeted for that. He assured me. So, you can google element and catalytic converter theft and see why I honestly had to pick my jaw up off the ground. I am a woman, maybe that was part of it? Or maybe it was that I was looking for a specific model? Or that is just how their used cars are? I dunno. I guess it doesn't hurt to go look if you are in the area but I would not drive very far down the road to look at their used cars. I mean, our sales guy was nice but heck I drove from pretty far away for that nonsense. And I almost spent the day driving in a different direction to look at another car, now I wish I had. I was hedging my bets because they had two at this lot, though in the end that was not the case. I will say that it was no nonsense. No one seemed interested in selling us anything so it made for a pretty quick low pressure test drive. Did not buy a car but ended up buying a hamburger down the road and have no plans to go back to Jacksonville anytime soon. More

After the intial visit, during an extremely hot, humid summer afternoon, we realized that all questions about the product, and possible financing there, were answered by one individual, her. That one on one customer service is one of the main reasons we bought our new Edge from that dealership. There was no parading of multiple team members to make the sale! The prices were clearly marked on each vehicle, plus applicable rebates, etc. As we, briefly, waited to sign the papers all the staff were courteous and attentative from the front door to our new vehicle despite the rain storm going on outside! With a definitive, YES!, we will be back soon to make another Ford purchase. Rick and Sharon More
