We had gone to a different ford dealership that was near by and we were waiting for about an hour. Then when we finally got to talk to someone they did not have their act together. We dealt with them for ab by and we were waiting for about an hour. Then when we finally got to talk to someone they did not have their act together. We dealt with them for about 3 hours to no avail. We called Duval ford and talked to Rick, he was very nice on the phone. He was then waiting for us and showed around and was very helpful. It truly felt that he got us the best deal possible and in a timely manor. He was fantastic. More
I started my experience with this dealership by placing an internet request. Malcom immediately contacted me back. My daughter and myself purchased 2-2010 Ford Focus from Malcom. When I finally arrived at an internet request. Malcom immediately contacted me back. My daughter and myself purchased 2-2010 Ford Focus from Malcom. When I finally arrived at the lot on Saturday night, Malcom had just left. A brand new saleman, Steve Williams, saw us walking around the lot and approach us to see if he could assist us. I told him that I had already talked with Malcom and he informed me that Malcom had just left for the night. He proceeded to let me know that he could assist me and let Malcome know I was there. I came back to the lot the next day and Malcom and Steve assisted us in obtaining our new cars.. It was Sunday, and very busy. WOW!!!! Is the best way to describe the "ENTIRE" customer service experience. They made us feel like a part of the Duval Ford Family. Billie Brown, the Finance Manager was very informative and made sure that my daughter and myself understood every step of the financing process. I will share Duval Ford with everyone I know and meet!!! A special thanks to Malcom, Steve, and Billie for their "Exceptional" customer service and for truely caring about the customer. The dealership wasn't rated higher for just a couple of reasons. Ken, my salesman, did not seem as interested in helping me at one point in the sales process. I had scheduled an appt to come talk to him reasons. Ken, my salesman, did not seem as interested in helping me at one point in the sales process. I had scheduled an appt to come talk to him and look at a new F-150. When I was running late, I called him to see if it would be ok to come on by to meet with him and look at the vehicle. He said, "Sure, come on by." I was frustrated when I got there, as he was with TWO other clients. He asked me to go out and look at the trucks by myself, and write down the stock number of any of the trucks I liked, to be able to take a test drive. I was surprised by this as it was really hot and rainy outside, and this doesn't seem like a good sales practice as there would be no one to answer my questions. It also told me I wasn't his top priority. I have two main issues with this: 1) If it wasn't a good time for me to stop by, then tell me. My time is as valuable as anyones. 2) Get someone who isn't so busy to help me. I understand things don't always work as planned, but at least get someone else to help me in the mean time. When I got outside, and realized there was no one to help me or answer my questions, I went back inside to see if I could find Ken. I could not, so I left. This was mid-morning... He called me that evening to apologize. I will say things improved considerably after that negative experience. I will also say also that James and Antonio on the finance/sales desk were AWESOME! They are very friendly, and the main reasons I continued with my purchase at Duval Ford. James honestly saved the deal. Also, the finance guy, TJ ( I believe that's his name ), was not the easiest to deal with. He talked down to me, which I don't like. More

My husband and I were shopping for a new ford focus (our very first new car). We had been to 3 other dealerships and were very unhappy with them. From the moment we walked into Duval Ford we were impressed. The salesmen didnt attack us when we walked on the lot, like most other dealerships. We asked to see a salesman and Malcolm came out. We told him what we were looking for, and what we wanted to pay for it. He was friendly, and very knowledgeable, and what he didnt know he found out for us. He also didn't try to push another vehicle on us, he simply showed us the cars that met what we wanted, down to and including the color. He then spoke with the finance manager and got a price that blew both my husband and I away. TJ was the finance person we met with, and he was extremely patient. My husband made things a little difficult, and even I was getting frustrated, but TJ kept his composure, and was very friendly. We would deffinitly reccomend Duval Ford to anyone!!! More
I wanted a Taurus but ended up with a Fusion! I asked about seeing if I would qualify for the Taurus and wasn't. The Fusion is ok but I ended up paying $30,000 for a $20,000 vehicle at supposedly 1.9%. about seeing if I would qualify for the Taurus and wasn't. The Fusion is ok but I ended up paying $30,000 for a $20,000 vehicle at supposedly 1.9%. Now I can't figure out how they couldn't qualify me for the basic Taurus at $25000 but landed me w/ a $30000 note for a Fusion. Then the only difference is it has Sync. The seats arent even leather for the price and they charged about $5000 for a warranty (100000 mi) that other dealers are giving as part of their basic packages. And I was told that Ford would only finance it at the 1.9% if I purchased the extended package which was a little better than the 5.9% with no package. The only good thing is it's a nice car and it's cheap on gas. More
Overall service at Duval Ford was excellent; the salesman knowledgeable; and the staff helpful. I returned to Duval Ford after purchasing a car from them last August for my son.
