Recall Repairs When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted and introduced to Sean. My wait time was about an hour, but that's because the rental I needed had n When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted and introduced to Sean. My wait time was about an hour, but that's because the rental I needed had not yet arrived. I was given an estimate of 3:00 - 3:30 for the jobs to be completed. The staff was courteous enough to take me to the rental location so I could pick up my vehicle. When I arrived back at Ford, I was told that one of the items needed was not in stock, and that it would take 3 days to get it in. The good news is that Ford extended my rental contract. When I called to check on the status, I was told that an additional problem was discovered, and that the needed part was unavailable until another 2 or more days. Again, Ford extended my rental contract, and they were able to have Ford pay for the additional repair because it was related to the recall, though not listed specifically. While some people would have been put out by all the delays, especially during the holiday season, I was thankful for the rental I did not have to pay for, and for the additional repair I did not have to pay for. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. More
