My wife and I have been working as civilians in Iraq since late 2008. We were only going to do one year. We contacted Les at ELCO Chevrolet about June 2009. We bought our previous two cars from him a since late 2008. We were only going to do one year. We contacted Les at ELCO Chevrolet about June 2009. We bought our previous two cars from him and ELCO and were totally satisfied. Mind you, there are lots of closer Chevrolet dealers. As it turned out, one year in Iraq turned into two years, which turned into three years. Les was very patient with us. Ever time we were geared up to come home for good and purchase the vehicles (an Escalade and Avalanche), we would stay for another year. I came home in Oct 2011. I wanted a specific Avalanche with specific options. Les found the vehicle at another dealership and had it broght to ELCO. He then arranged to have the one option missing installed, the dual DVD TVs' in the rear headrests. All this was arranged before I even set foot back in the United States. When I arrived, I went to ELCO on the first working day and picked up my Avalanche. Les also assited us in getting great market value for our 2004 Trail Blazer in Aug 2011, and with trying to find a used vehicle for our daughter. We will be going through Les and ELCO for the purchase of our Escalade in February of 2013 and the purchase of our Corvette some time between July of 2013 and May of 2014. This is the second new car we purchased at Elco, Jim Russa stayed late and was very helpful. Never pushy Great man. Will highly recommend Jim. Joe and Les were perfect Gentlemen to myself and my Girl friend thoughout the entire sales process ( 6 hrs the first day, 5 hrs the second visit, and 2 hrs on delivery day ). Both of my salesman were extremely companies, or services purchased but I must say that I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Elco Chevrolet. Both of my salesman were extremely personable and easy to work with. I did rate the price at a four not because they didn't give me a great deal but because I didn't negotiate that well enough. I'm satisfied with what I paid but I also feel I should have bargained more. Again this is not a reflection on the dealer. James Crowe was also very helpful and was more than willing and able to answer any of my questions and ease all of my concerns. I would definitely recommend Elco Chevrolet to any of my friends, family, or associates for their vehicle purchasing needs. More
