This was my first experience with Elco and probably will not be my last. Rick was incredible taking the time to show us all the features of the car before we ever left for the test drive. To be honest Rick was the first salesperson to do that in years. Rick was personable and friendly and his delivery of the vehicle after signing all the paperwork was beyond top notch. It was easily the best experience I have had purchasing a vehicle in 20 years. There are dealerships that I will not even give a chance because of negative past experiences of being treated as just a number or not considerate of my time. That was not the case. Poor experience with the service dept. I noticed some bounce in my ride and I had a feeling the shocks were going out on my Tahoe. Of course it was $179 just for them to look at it. I made a 9am appointment. 3pm came along and I had not heard anything so I called up to find out it had just got done. I asked what the diagnosis was and my rep told me he was just going through it. I said no worries he could just explain it to me when I got there. They sent the shuttle to pick me up, which saved me an Uber Ride, but when I got there, my rep had left for the day. Now clearly he knew I was on the way since he sent the car to pick me up and we just talked about explaining everything when I got there. But no, he was gone for the day and I was just directed to go over to the cashier and pay and take my car with no explanation of the diagnosis. The only thing with my bill was. 2 computer screen print outs of part numbers and billing hours. This didn't really sit well with me so I asked if the Service Manager was available so maybe he could explain the lack of service. Another rep called him, but he was too busy to come talk and would call me back later in the day when he had a chance. Well it's been 10 days and I haven't heard from my service rep or the service manager. Needless to say, I won't be going back any time in the future. More
