Now we are forced to walk everywhere including my child in 116° because we were scammed by Earnhardt! We purchased a 2015 Jeep Cherokee and within 9 days had engine ticking and check engine light. Earnhardt refused to help us with this problem because I was 200 miles outside of their 500 mile warranty and I chose to get a 3rd party warranty because it last 5 yrs instead of the 2 yr warranty Earnhardt was offering me. They changed an o2 sensor that did nothing to fix the problem. Check engine light came right back on with same exact codes. I now have attempted to resolve mechanical issues with my warranty and they will not cover Earnhardt's preexisting conditions. Mechanic who looked at my car is 100% sure this issue has been there for a long while and first check engine light was for the same issue as this one. It came up p219a fuel ratio balance all along! Jeep needs new rocker arms, lifters, cam shaft. Up to $10,000 in repairs on a Jeep I just got for $20,0000. Mechanic and warranty urging me to contact dealership because they need to honor this repair it was there before purchase. Kurt Stewart general manager would take no responsibility for the issue and has left our family with no vehicle in this heat and a huge amount of debt for a car that had serious engine problems in the first 9 days. I have taken my Accent to Earnhardt Hyundai twice now for an oil change. Both times I have had excellent results with my service. Staff is very friendly and professional. No hard up sells.
