I contacted the Earnhardt dealership via internet - from the Edmunds/KBB sites, looking into the purchase of an FJ Cruiser or 4Runner, 2010. All communications were promptly responded to, and any information I requested, was immediately passed along to me. The 'bid' process, as I requested, went without the usual 'lets make a deal' atmosphere, and I chose to buy the 4Runner from Earnhardt Ford - as not only was the pricing the best for my Lexis trade-in, but on the 4 Runner as well - and I felt that I would have a better shot of actually being remembered that I bought a car from your dealership after the wheels of my new 4Runner rolled off your parking lot.
I have never had a more thorough introduction to a car than John gave me when I came to pick up the car. Perhaps, he was excited about the KDSS suspension system or the new 'crawl mode' on the 2010 4Runner, which could explain the extensive test drive on the gravel lot, but be that as it may - I now know exactly what this car is capable of doing. I do not think there was one knob, light, or coin holder that was not pointed out to me. This my friends, is the definition of EXCELLENT customer service.
All aspects of the purchase process, from the installation of the after market security system, finalizing the paperwork, and detailing of the car are to be commended as well.
And finally, before driving off the lot, and waving a fond farewell to a 'tearful' John (well, I don't think the tears were actually for me) John actually paired my iphone to the car. Perhaps, to call the car, now and again until a new 4Runner Trail edition rolls into the Earnhardt lot......................
