This is the first time we have purchased at East Bay BMW; we have had the best customer service and very satisfy with their services. I would to say thank you to Folarin “Flo” Tallman who is my sale man advisor at East Bay. He is very helpful and knowledgeable; he had been helping me to place order my car and always contact us for follow up the status of my order. When we came to pick up my X5, he was enthusiastic, patient and very careful to show us how to use all the new technologies of my new 2014 X5. I and my wife very satisfy and enjoyable with my new X5. A good start! I just purchased one 328GT yesterday from East Bay BMW. The whole process is great! Thank you Said for being patient with accommodating the various requests for test driving different cars until I found the right one. Said was also very upfront and thorough as we went through the trade-in value for my old BMW. He went above-and-beyond and I truly felt appreciated as a customer through his attention and service. While I was waiting to close the deal on the car, they provided my friend & me with water and snacks -- that was really nice. It's these little touches of customer care and attention that made my experience at East Bay BMW so comfortable. I worked with Douglas Miller in the Finance Dept. and he was very helpful and easy to deal with too. He made the final steps of closing the deal easy and trouble-free. Overall, I would highly recommend Said and his colleagues as East Bay BMW. They have a professional staff, wonderful facility and I couldn't be happier with my experience. More

I purchased a CPO car here a month or so ago. Overall this dealership seems to be expanding rapidly which can be both good and bad. The sales staff was helpful and generally made the sales / sign process painless. I was buying a convertible in May, so price negotiability is expected to be a bit painful. I will say that the delivery process left a fair amount to be desired. We finished up the paperwork late night on a weeknight. Flo gave the car a quick wash and a half tank of gas and suggested I come back the next day for a full detail. I took him up on the offer as I was excited to receive my "new-ish" car. I came back the next day and dropped it off for it's full detail job. When I came back the next day, what I received was not much different than a quick hand-wash. There were a few knicks left in the paint (one was a dime sized gash in the door frame). In addition there were multiple swirls. My final disappointment was that there was a weird sticky residue in the cup holders. Given that I live in South Bay, three trips to take delivery isn't in the offing. Upon writing my BMWNA review, Flo, the GM, and an admin all called me within 48 hours to rectify the problem (great!). I responded a day or two later due to a business trip. It's now been over a week with no response from anyone (bad!). My guess is that between vacations and other sales this fell through the cracks. I'm just going to pay to have my car detailed locally as this lack of attention to detail has taken up more time than I expected. Bottom line - buying a car from this dealer is painless and honest process, but I would recommend watching them like a hawk and not taking delivery until the vehicle is in pristine condition. More
