No hassle buying experience After not being able to test drive a Forester at my local Subaru dealer, we decided to drive to East Hills Subaru since they have a Forester available After not being able to test drive a Forester at my local Subaru dealer, we decided to drive to East Hills Subaru since they have a Forester available for a test drive. Worked with Anthony Applewhaite who took us on a test drive and carefully explained the car's features. I had already researched the car and know the exact model and the features I want, but wanted to test drive it first. In addition, I had a TrueCar price quote with me. I was satisfied with the test drive so I told Anthony that I wanted the car. Gave him the TrueCar quote and they were able to beat it by a small amount. The car did take 2 months to arrive from Japan, but I finally took delivery of the car today. Anthony and Jayson (the Finance manager) were very professional in getting us in and out with the new car. My suggestion to all car buyers. Go through a car buying/pricing service (TrucCar, Costco, etc.) first before buying a car. You'll find out what you can afford beforehand. More

Best Car Purchase Experience Ever! My wife and I were in the market for a new car after having my old Toyota totalled in an accident. We live in Port Washington and had been considering My wife and I were in the market for a new car after having my old Toyota totalled in an accident. We live in Port Washington and had been considering a Subaru for over five years, due to the rigors (hills and such) of our neighborhood. Fortunately for us, East Hills Subaru is right next door to the rent-a-car place where we got our insurance loaner from. Well, although we may have been slightly skeptical and wary of car dealers when we walked in, we were served by Jamie Borack, who not only likes to sell Subarus, but also really seems to care about her customers and tries her utmost to make the experience pleasant and easy for all parties involved. We ended up getting a new Impreza Sport hatchback, which I have been driving for a few days, and loving every minute of it. I recommend this dealership, and Jamie, without any reservations whatsoever. The loan officer(?) Jayson Schrager also did very well for us, and was a real pleasure to deal with. More
