Finally a decent dealership and sales person! People always seem motivated to write bad reviews. I am motivated to write an outstanding review. About 3 weeks ago I was broadsided by a lunatic and People always seem motivated to write bad reviews. I am motivated to write an outstanding review. About 3 weeks ago I was broadsided by a lunatic and was pushed into two other cars. My poor Prius that I had babied since 08 was totaled out and the insurance company only gave me one weeks rental to find a new car. I had had bad head injuries and was having difficulty understanding and with my speech. I decided (with the help of some level head family members) to buy a Subaru Forester. I walked into two other dealerships, both of which were very shifty and slick. Then I went to East Hills. I told the receptionist that I needed a sales person that spoke slowly and did not pressure me. They introduced me to James Hoppe and I have to tell you I tortured that poor man. He was patient, spoke calmly, repeated himself as much as I needed and let ME make my decisions. He did not pressure me. So I picked up the pretty white Forester on a Friday. Came to find out that there was an issue with the car that made me very unhappy. I wanted built in navigation but did not choose it for budget reasons. But I soon found out linking my android was distracting and diverted my eyes from the road. So on Tuesday I showed up with the new car and said I was unhappy. To make an already too long review shorter, 4 hours later I walked out with another Forester (silver this time) with navigation. The whole team is amazing. The General Manager, Dennis was so helpful, and James busted his butt to make me happy. If you are going to buy a Subaru, go to a place like this. Their staff, especially James Hoppe are wonderful and patient. More
