My wife and I love the new GMC acadia limited but did not have a good experience with the sale/finance team. Someone tried to sneak in a 5k warranty and GAP insurance. I asked the finance manager if the deal have a good experience with the sale/finance team. Someone tried to sneak in a 5k warranty and GAP insurance. I asked the finance manager if the dealership just throws in the 24 month 24 thousand mile power train warranty for free. He said yes the sales team should of explained that to you. So when the purchase price of the vehicle was 5k more then the original price that were supposed to finance and we said something the finance manager suddenly changed his tone with us and was very rude after I told him he needed to redo the paper work. The finance manager tried telling us that he would call the leander and have the 5k took of off the end of the loan. I told him no and I wanted the paperwork redone so that I could have the lower payment. The finance manager became more rude with us. After he redid the paperwork our interest rate change as well and with no explanation of why. When asked he was very rude and told us this is how it is and we could eaither sign it or not. When I asked him who tried to be sneaky and add a 5k warranty with out letting us know he blamed it on the sale guy and said the sales guy works the deal and he gets the paperwork. When I asked the sales guy he said the finance manager is the one that tries to sale all the aftermarket warranty and extra stuff when you go back to him and the finance team tries to sale that stuff to the buyer. They both blamed each other and no one took responsibility for trying to add a 5k warranty without us knowing. It makes me wonder how many other people they do this to. Needless to say we will not be going back to buy another vehicle from them again. After they fix the vehicle that has a steering wheel vibrating at 60 we will not be going back or referring any one else. I also had to fight to get them to put it on paperwork that they will fix the vibrating and that was the only way I would buy the vehicle. They also promised they would have someone call and set up a day and time for me to.bring the vehicle back to be fixed with a rental car. It took me a week of calling to final get the service scheduled and now they said there was no paperwork submitted to have the vehicle fixed or to get a rental while the vehicle is bening fixed. The sad thing is we would of probably bought a newer vehicle that was 5k more if we had known that we could if financed 5k more on a vehicle. So far the vehicle has been great but the service has been horrible. Overall not a good experience and would not recommend anyelse do business with this dealership. More
