Scott, I am sorry that you felt we didn’t want your business. It’s never our intention to push any business away. The miscommunication on your deal was not that we did not want to order you a new Tacoma. It was that we wanted to set the proper expectation on timeline. The TRD Off-Road long bed is a rare truck and then adding the Premium package is even more rare. I talked to Stephany and Tony, both who I believe you chatted with here, As of right now there are two TRD Off-Road long bed off roads in the nearest 113 dealers allocations. None are on the ground and none in freight status, none are gray as you wanted. This would require us ordering and trading out of our region with a 20% chance of success in your timeline over the March/April time period. I understand this is not what you want to hear, but I would rather have this conversation that tell you what you want to hear, and then not have your truck when your lease matures in 60-days. We are happy to work with you on getting this truck, but it would likely be late-Spring/early-Summer before we could confidently promise you anything. Should you change your mind and another dealer disappoints, we are here to help you. We would appreciate a face-to-face chat or a phone call to handle issues like these in the future.
