Worth the Drive from Orlando I met Jeremy by chance after a month's worth of being exhausted by dealers in Orlando who used all the exact sort of sales tactics that make people ha I met Jeremy by chance after a month's worth of being exhausted by dealers in Orlando who used all the exact sort of sales tactics that make people hate buying cars and "used car salesmen". My husband and I are from Orlando and were looking to purchase a pre-owned Nissan Murano. We tried to work some of the local dealerships who had what we wanted, and I'm the one who typically handles this sort of transaction. I got everything from "do you need to wait for your husband before we talk?" to people trying to change the deal by 2 or 3K at the last minute, and generally making me feel I was either stupid or insulting them in trying to negotiate. I was pretty fed up. So, I expanded our distance search and found the type of vehicle were looking for, at Ed Morse Cadillac in Tampa and figured, why not? I called and was by chance connected with Jeremy. What a difference. I told him the exact terms I'd already been offering in Orlando and that if we could work something out I'd drive over the next morning to sign paperwork. One phone call, 5 texts, and we'd worked everything out in the space of an hour including a value on my trade, sight unseen. He got everything he needed from me that day to have the paperwork drawn up and the vehicle detailed before I arrived the next morning, and he had me done in time to be back at my office when I told him I'd needed to be (which was before noon). Jeremy, his manager and everyone else at Ed Morse Cadillac were exceptionally kind, professional, respectful, straightforward, easy to work with and accommodating. There were no pressure tactics, and Kevin Roberts in finance made sure I thoroughly understood everything about any warranties on the vehicle before I left and how to handle any issues which might arise. Jeremy has even followed up with me since the sale to ensure everything is fine with the vehicle. I got the vehicle I wanted, I was treated fairly and respectfully, and I've never been happier to make a trip to or from Tampa. I cannot recommend working with Jeremy or Ed Morse Cadillac highly enough, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back the next time it's time to purchase a vehicle. Footnote: the exceptionally rude and dismissive salesman from Orlando reached out to me again the same afternoon to follow up and see if I had everything I needed. I was happy to tell him yes, that I'd picked up everything I needed earlier that morning from Ed Morse Cadillac in Tampa for near same terms he' been acting insulted by all week, and thanked him for making the decision to buy elsewhere an easy one. CAR WAS SLOWING DOWN, PROBLEM WAS CORRECTED SO FAR THAT I CAN SEE,WILL KNOW MORE WHEN I TAKE A LONGER RIDE,PROBLEM WAS WITH CADILLAC,NOT ED MORSE SALES,OR SERVICE.MADE US V PROBLEM WAS CORRECTED SO FAR THAT I CAN SEE,WILL KNOW MORE WHEN I TAKE A LONGER RIDE,PROBLEM WAS WITH CADILLAC,NOT ED MORSE SALES,OR SERVICE.MADE US VERY NERVOUS COMING HOME FROM THE GARAGE.WE WHERE ALMOST REAR ENDED TWICE BECAUSE OF CAR SLOWING DOWN,THAN SHOOTING BACK UP TO SPEED.CAR SHUT DOWN COMPLETLY CLOSE TO HOME,HAD TO GET TOWED HOME.WENT FROM 70MPH,DOWN TO 20MPH,TWICE ON THE WAY HOME,THAN SHUT DOWN,AND WOULD NOT START UP AGAIN.
