He quoted me one price and sent the bank a different principal of the car. The workers in the facility are completely unprofessional. They were cursing amongst each other. My 10 year old son was present it was completely ridiculous. The car seems to be a good quality however the amount of aggravation was sad. I would never recommend anyone going to Nissan Edison dealership. More

Poor Service, Lack of attention to detail 2013 Altima . With 82,467 miles on my vehicle the CVT transmission failed. The cost to replace was $3,160.58 and the work was done by Edison, NJ Nissan. T hen, t . With 82,467 miles on my vehicle the CVT transmission failed. The cost to replace was $3,160.58 and the work was done by Edison, NJ Nissan. T hen, the replacement transmission that was put in by the Nissan Dealer failed within 5 days and I had to bring the vehicle back into Edison Nissan on 11/21/2016 to have the replacement transmission, sent from Nissan USA, and replaced one again. So, I am on transmission number three..... After I contacted Nissan USA I received a case # 24773025. After escalating the issue, Nissan USA informed me that they would not be providing assistance towards the thousands of $$$$$ that I was out of pocket. As a consumer, I was very disappointed in the decision that Nissan USA came to. The CVT transmission failure is a known issue, one that has plagued Nissan for over 10+ years. Please see the memo that Nissan sent regarding their 2002-2010 models with the CVT Transmission. While my vehicle falls outside of the memo below, the issue with the CVT has not been rectified and Nissan USA is aware of this fact. To not offer any financial assistance to me, the consumer is unacceptable. Edison Nissan: 11/11/2016- First time I brought my Altima in for repair. I was referred to Edison Nissan by a local mechanic who owns his own shop for their professionalism and knowledge. It was determined that my CVT transmission failed and would need to be replaced. The work was performed and I paid $3,160.58 for the repair. I had 82, 467 miles on my vehicle. - When the work was completed, the vehicle was pulled around for me and there was a warning light on the dash. The indicator showed that the ABS was an issue. The car was then taken back into service and the diagnostic code was reset. 11/21/2016- I returned to Edison Nissan because the engine was racing, lacked power and tach was up and down when driving the vehicle. The service representative informed me that the replacement transmission that Nissan sent was bad and that a new one needed to be installed. Needless to say, as a consumer, I found this to be unacceptable. How can Nissan USA send a faulty transmission to a dealer and that transmission failed in 10 days and less than 700 miles??? The time I spend away from work to bring the car back into Nissan was unacceptable. - When the work was completed, the vehicle was pulled around for me and there was a strange noise when I pulled out. I brought the vehicle back in and the service team looked at the vehicle. They determined that a boot clamp was not put on properly. They fixed the issue and I was back on my way. 12/1/2016- When the car was engaged in gear, there was a loud noise. It sounded like my Altima was a diesel. On 12/2/2016, I returned to Edison Nissan for a third time. They looked at the vehicle and determined that a pipe needed a new clamp. The pipe and clamp was disassembled when the transmission was replaced. They installed a new clamp and pulled the care around for me. As I got into the vehicle, I still heard the loud noise when I engaged the car in gear. Service then took the car back and after another look over, they determined that the entire pipe and clamp needed to be replaced. They would order the pipe and have Nissan USA pay for it since it was the service teams fault for damaging when the CVT transmission was replaced. 12/9/2016- I received a call from my service advisor, that the part has arrived from Nissan and I could come in when it was convenient to have the pipe replaced. I called on 12/16 to set up a time to come in that day to have the work performed. I was told that the part was sold and was no longer at the dealership. They would have to order the part once again. 12/272016- I told Demi that I would be at the dealership around 12 to drop off my car and pick up my loaner. Due to a personal conflict I arrived at the dealership at 2:10 PM. I spoke with Service Manager Scott in his office for about 10-15 minutes and waited on my loaner to be ready. Now, at 3:45 PM, more than 90 minutes after arriving to drop off my car and get my loaner, I was still at the dealership. I was informed that the work was almost complete and should wait another 10 minutes. This was not acceptable. I called to make arrangements to drop my car off and get a loaner. That process should not take 90 + Minutes. 12/28/2016- I returned to the Edison Nissan dealership with the same loud noise when the car was engaged in gear. Service Manager came out to listen to the noise and we drove the car around to service. The tech came out, popped the hood and listened to the engine. He then went into the shop and got a screw gun. When he returned, he tightened a cover in the engine and the noise went away. As you will see, I made six separate trips to the service department at Edison Nissan over a 7 week period, all related to work performed on the CVT Transmission. Horrible experience More
Fake prices, false advertisement Saw a car online that met my needs and budget, went in and spoke with a very nice young man who was helpful and help me test drive the vehicle. However, I was then told that the price online is only for previous dealership customers and specified by a small writing on the site. The price was then two thousand dollars more! In addition, PLEASE be careful as they run your credit before giving you a final price for the vehicle (no other dealership has done that before). The worst part of my experience was the sales manager (who I don't have the name of since he didn't introduce himself, seemed to maybe be of Italian heritage) Sat down then proceeded to insult my knowledge by pointing out to the small fine print on the site referring to the change in price for non customers. His demeanor was intolerable, continued to comment my poor judgment of the site by using commercials as an example "they tell you a great price and then you don't read the fine print! Do you complain to them about it?!". At that point, I decided to not do business with them. Sales manager walked away annoyed. Hope he gets some business training and gets to understand the importance of listening to the customer as well as providing a simple handshake to thank them for their time. I think Nissan can do better than that. Please stay away if you don't want to play sales games and deal with unprofesionalism when you don't agree on a deal. In addition, the mood of the dealership also changed after the deal was not made, no more smiles from the staff or even a good bye from the receptionist. I am currently shopping for a vehicle and have walked away from other deals that did not meet my budget, but have never faced this horrible customer service. Will stay away from this dealership. Finally, please do not false advertise your vehicles it only wastes customers time. More

I had a great experience working with Gibril! we just bought an used SUV, and Gibril was the main reason we closed the deal. I called at 2:00 about a used car and spoke to Tom. Tom ensured me the car is here. I double checked because we are 2 hours away. So we made an appointment for 6. John Bella called me at 4:00 and said if I have any questions to call. We drove all the way there to be told the car was sold last weekend. We spoke to John Bella and he said I can't help what cars come in. Price is dependent on financing. What's the big deal? Pick another car. He had the "whatever" smirk and tone. I even told them during the initial call that we are cash buyers. It was a $10,000 car. They could have called me since they knew I was coming up for a car that had been sold. John is very unprofessional. In my 20 years in the air force and being a pilot, I have never run across this before. A manager with an I don't care attitude. Be warned about dealing with this place. You might get treated like a piece of dirt and lied to. This was for my sons first car that he had picked out. What a first experience for my son. At least he learned that this car dealership, Edison Nissan, in NJ are crooked liars. More
