Bait and Switch -- No integrity We saw a 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5 for sale on the Edmunds app with a Sale Price of $7,995. We made an appointment the next day. When we saw the car, th We saw a 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5 for sale on the Edmunds app with a Sale Price of $7,995. We made an appointment the next day. When we saw the car, there was a different price listed on the windshield in bright yellow for $8,777. I just figured that that was initial price and it must have dropped to $7,995. After our test drive, we sat behind the sales person desk to discuss price. He handed me a piece of paper with $9,995. So what was the $7,995 we saw on Edmunds? He said if you looked at OUR website then it clearly says (in very small print) that a $2,000 discount COULD be applied if you had an approved trade-in. However there was NOTHING on the Edmunds app. Okay, so what about the $8,777? He said, "oh that's just an advertisement. There's a rebate for that price too". So I asked him what IS the ACTUAL price of the car. After much confusion it was $12,708. This was the $9,995 plus dealer prep and tax. We were ready to buy this car but they were NEVER intending on selling the car for anything remotely close to $7,995. Classic bait and switch. Avoid this dealer. More
