They diagnosed the issues appropriately, provided us with the best discount, were very respectful of our time, and even corrected an issue that a different body shop left unresolved. I've used a number of different shops, but theirs is unrivaled. I'm in awe of their professionalism, knowledge, and workmanship. They went above and beyond for us and we truly appreciate Deme and his team. And even though we reside in New York, Deme and the team have made an impression on us and we plan to make the trip out to their facility in New Jersey anytime we need our vehicle repaired. They are either deliberately dishonest or completely incompetent. I was promised a price, made an appointment that day, and went in. I even asked them to confirm the terms several times. Of course, when I went in, the price promised to me was not honored even though I had it in writing but was instead offered at a several thousand dollar premium, according to the salesman. Very deceptive, so I eventually left and went to another Nissan dealer in Monmouth Junction who was more straightforward. I just can't give business to people who lie. From the moment we spoke on the phone with Kimberley who let us know we were pre-approved, to meeting our sales rep John McShane , and sitting down with Mgr David Chevez, everything was handled top notch. My wife and I ended up leasing a 2016 Rogue that the team worked hard on to remain within the budget we told them we needed. All of them actually cared about what WE wanted, not just their need to sell a vehicle. The sale was handled with honesty and integrity that was greatly appreciated. Misleading and unprofessional I recently contacted Edison Nissan about a Nissan Juke they had advertised on their website. The deal sounded amazing, so I made an appointment to vi I recently contacted Edison Nissan about a Nissan Juke they had advertised on their website. The deal sounded amazing, so I made an appointment to view the car withe the Internet Manager. When I arrived, the car was not even on the lot but in another lot 5 miles away. I was thinking this is strange they knew I was coming in and the car isn't even here, no big deal right, it's only 5 miles away, so I wait. After over an hour, the car salesman finally comes back and said the car had been backed up the other lot and the battery was out and not working! Why did they even waste my time to come in and see the car. I definitely do not blame this salesman in particular because it was passed over to him but this is just unprofessional. The one nice thing they did was drive me to the train station so I can catch my ride back home. Later I find out that the base price is very good however the hidden fees is where they get you. A pre-delivery inspection fee for $1300, some etch fee and a higher than usual doc fee is where they get you, these fees totaled more than 13% of the sticker price. Also the sellers comments say the car was certified w/7 yr 100k mile warranty, when you ask further about it they say its ready to be certified and you have to pay another $495! Luckily I shopped around and found a fair and honest dealership who is straightforward and I can respect that. Don't encourage this behavior and feel like you must give in to these types of businesses, shop around and stay away from businesses like this that laugh at you once you leave, you and your hard earned money deserve better! More
