Service consultant with a bad attitude for business I have a used 350z. I came here to edison nissan here in nj and told the advisor name John Lieber that I needed the four digit pin code to program the I have a used 350z. I came here to edison nissan here in nj and told the advisor name John Lieber that I needed the four digit pin code to program the key for my car. He did tell me that he wasn't able to give out that code but did ask for my registration. I proceeded to give it to him. John input all of my information into the system then gave me a card with a 5 digit code and said to me. "Its not a four digit code to program your car its a 5 digits code." Then he says "I have a feeling I will be seeing you again. With a smirk." I went back to the locksmith and the smith said to me. What he gave you was the codes to cut the key not to program it. As you can imagine I was very angry. As I returned back to the dealership and I told him what he gave me he smirks and said well that's what I thought you wanted. I told him this is not a game. And you purposely gave me the wrong codes. Furthermore on a separate situation while I am currently here John is having a separate disagreement with another 2 customers. One of the situations i can hear him saying to the guy after the guy walks away "get out of my life." Which made a few by standers chuckle. "This is an embarrassment to this dealership." If this is this dealership normal behavior I refuse to come back because I don't want to be disrespected such as I have by giving me the wrong codes and saying I have a feeling I will be seeing you again with a smirk then talking about a co-worker and customers as they walk away. As I type this a co-worker here that appears to be quiting the job and the advisor John is making a bit of fun of the guy as the guy walks away from him. The guy is just here for his last check and it appears he is getting the run around by telling him to wait and he have been here since the beginning of my run around with my key ordeal and that was 2 hours ago. Furthermore as I continue to type this I hear more sarcastic remarks from John. If this is how they treat customers and their employees they should be report to the BBB. The other 3 employees that helped me I must say were understanding and very nice. More

Best Dealership for any make I have never owned a foreign car and was reluctant to do so. I made my selection and " Bill" helped me through the entire process. I had visited another Nissan dealer prior to making my purchase but their attitude turned me off. So hatas off to Edison Nissan. Don't Ever BUY FROM THEM If you need a good car .. DON"T GO TO THEM . So unorganized and not work it. I got my car late at night, around 9:30pm there was no gas in the vehicle at all. We lucky we had 40 miles left to get to a gas station, never filled up vehicle at all. Not worth the visit at all. I saw the car listed as $17,999 and they went up $23k saying, no I wasn't looking at the right price. Which the online site had VIN# the same as our vehicle we purchased. They pulled the listing ASAP. NEVER EVER AGAIN will I GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!! More

Robert, my sales rep, was professional without being pushy, personable, knowledgeable and patient. He explained the paperwork in detail and went over all the bells and whistles in the car and made the entire process easy. His friendly demeanor was a great plus. Internet Specialist first quoted a number over the phone before i went in to the showroom and when i came for the first time he comes down and assigns some random sales man for the sale . And that guy looks up and says no inventory and for the price that the guy initial quoted is way off . And then i stepped out and called the internet sales guy he then put the manager and he said he will honor the same price . Again went back and this time they hooked up with another sales man ,where he started acting smart . What kind of a dealership doesn't know about the registration process , He claims that the NJ state law doesn't allow to transfer the SUV plates to sedan vehicles(LOL). I wish DMV reviews this comment so that they can start amending that rule in the registration website .This is a shock how they come up with there own information . And when i tried explaining/justifying where my first car was a sedan and i transferred to a SUV DMV did not object , And then he said ohh you know what let me check with my manager . This is a Joke , They think whatever they say we should blindly accept it . And now after i finalized the numbers , now the sales man starts walking back and forth with the finance to get the figures correctly(?? Not sure why) . Still i was not sure whats happening , They just want to put some random extra numbers at my face and wants me to accept it . Then a polite lady comes and talks to me with the numbers again , I felt they made sense , but by that time i was confused in my mind if i should proceed further or not and i just walked out due to this confusion ,And without notifying me they just performed and Hard Inquiry for no reason ,where the car sale figure was not even finalized , And i believe this was partial fault of mine initially where as per the original numbers i was proceeding , But then later all this drama started . For no reason a stupid hard inquiry was wasted . But still without my knowledge they shouldn't have made an inquiry where i didn't agree to the price numbers given by them . Caution to the people who read this website review make sure you get the itemized discounts on the vehicle listed , anything they tell you over the phone or website is no way included in the total cost of what they will say at the time of the application they will eventually come up with all magic numbers what they want in the end and at the end we will be so much confused whats happening with simple numbers .
