My car-buying experience was much better here than at other dealerships. Greg was friendly and very knowledgeable about the Juke I was interested in. I was looking for a new car to lease and had gone to other dealerships. However, once I arrived at Edison Nissan, I was greeted by a salesperson named Monika Gurciniate who was very friendly and helpf other dealerships. Everything was don 2 reasons: 1) Soon after this new branch of an established company opened, I began taking my 2000 Maxima for routine maintenance. Everything was done right the first time - I never had to ask them to look at something a second time. They pointed out potential future problems and suggested possible actions. Edison Nissan has a customer point system, so that after having a big job done, the points pay for several oil and filter changes in the months after. For this reason, work such as brakes relined etc becomes far cheaper, even though the rate charged is standard. The dealership is friendly enough to give free coffee or tea and in mornings, free small bagels or muffins, while you wait. The waiting area is comfortable and has of course a large tv. 2) My beloved Maxima, at 217,885 miles, had major corrosion on the arm in front of the engine which physically holds the engine in place, after the near-record snows of this winter and the associated salt on roads. My service advisor, John Lieber, was concerned for my safety with that potential for the Maxima's body to physically fail. When I saw the damage, I began to cry; this was Not a good position to be in for negotiating for a new vehicle. Nevertheless, John took me to Monika Gurcinaite in sales, and together they searched Nissan databases for a Rogue I had been thinking I'd want "in the future". They were willing to exchange cars with a dealer 60 miles away, but the other dealer sold their Rogue first. John and others continued searching for the perfect vehicle for me, and found a new 2014 model with everything I ever hoped for and nothing I didn't. At this point I had a broken-down, unsafe heap - not really a trade-in, but Edison gave me credit for being a loyal service customer for 2 years and gave me a good deal on a lease. I cannot imagine a better dealership: honest, direct, friendly, thorough, caring about people as well as cars. I hope Nissan North America is proud of them; I am certainly thankful I found this dealership. More
This dealership and its employees were totally accommodating to myself and my husband while shopping for a car. They gave us a fair price for our tradein. I had the best car buying experience at this dealer. The service was great. From the time I spoke with the sales rep to the sales manager and then finance person, everyone at this dealership was courteous, service was great. I went to another Nissan dealership prior to visiting this one. I stopped in here after speaking to Deron and to be honest I almost skipped out on my appointment. I was told to ask for Rob, and visiting this dealership was the best decision I've made through out my car buying process. I'm a first time buyer, and I sincerely feel like the first dealership I went to was going to rip me off completely. Rob and Nash were great at explaining my interest rate, listening to what I wanted, and going through the process step by step. I took home a 2012 Altima coupe the very same day I stopped in. The process was much shorter and the terms of the finance were SO MUCH BETTER than what I was originally offered. These guys genuinely want to help , not just pressure you to take a car off the lot ASAP. I would recommend this dealership 1000 times over to anyone considering purchasing a Nissan. These guys are great. There's no pressure to buy, and they're just friendly, helpful people who want to help their customer the best way that they can. More

We would honestly go back and only back to Route 1 Nissan in Edison. (Look for the sales associate, Bikrum. I think he's new there but he's very patient and he'll do anything to help his customers out!) More
