My customer experience at Edmond Hyundai I have had my Tucson since 2013 and other than regular maintenance, I have not had a single issue. That's never happened before with other cars. The staff at Edmond Hyundai are always friendly and service gets the work done quickly. They take the time if I stop by for a quick question. As a female, I rely on my car dealer service department to let me know if there are issues. In the past, I have decided not to buy a particular brand of car based on the dealership where I took my car for service or how well the car held up over time. HORRIBLE dealer experience. Was pre-approved through Hyundai Motor Finance spoke to the General Manager Luke Glavan about this purchase. Also spoke to Brian, the finance director, asked about the price Hyundai Motor Finance spoke to the General Manager Luke Glavan about this purchase. Also spoke to Brian, the finance director, asked about the price of the new 2019 Hyundai Ionic Limited... specifically if the price online was the actual purchase price of the vehicle. Brian said yes, except for a $599.00 doc fee. So I drive to Edmond from Yukon to look and drive the vehicle.... First off the vehicle is filthy dirty with pollen and dust. Luke knew I was coming but didn’t run the car through the wash. The car had 88 miles on the ODO and had TONS of damage. Multiple scratches in the paint, one past the paint and primer down to bare plastic. The rear passenger side wheel has damage etched into the wheel. The rear passenger tail light had a chunk missing out of the plastic housing and that somehow caused the rear turn signal to not work which left an error warning on the dash the entire duration of our test drive. Lastly, the sunroof shade made loud noises when it opened and closed, like a metal clanking noise. NONE of these these issues should be happening on a brand new vehicle with 88 miles on the ODO. This vehicle was in ROUGH shape and no one thought it would be wise to be UPFRONT AND HONEST about the condition of the vehicle that sat on their lot for over a year. Our salesman that followed us into the parking lot said to call or text Luke and let him know that none of these issues were disclosed to me before making the trip. Not only did they lie about the damage to a car with 88 miles on the ODO, but they lied about the price. Neither Luke or Brian disclosed that the online price didn’t include discounts that I didn’t qualify for or the $2,000 I’m dealer add ons. Brian told me Edmond Hyundai is all about making customers happy and being “transparently about their prices. That was a lie... this dealership, general manager, and staff are far from reputable, honest and do not have an ounce of integrity. BUYER BEWARE! More
