Pleasantly Surprised I had previously financed a vehicle through Drivetime and I had the opportunity to go through another dealership to get my next vehicle, if possible. I sent out a few feelers on dealership websites and was contacted by Shy Davis from Edmond Hyundai. After explaining to him my concerns about dealerships and my credit history, and the type of car Drivetime was offering me, he convinced me to at least give them a shot. (Plus, my parents had previously purchased through Edmond Hyundai.) When I pulled up Aaron McPherson was the first person to approach me. He was very friendly and immediately told me about their up front and honest policy, and promised they wouldn't do the thing where they get you in a car and call you a week or two later to ask for it back because they couldn't approve financing. That stuck out to me because I hadn't mentioned to anyone about how that had happened to me a few years ago, which is why I went to Drivetime and why I was hesitant to try out a big dealership. I ended up test-driving a high-end vehicle near what I could get at Drivetime to see the difference in payments, etc. between the two dealerships. However, the one I saw online wasn't available and I became hesitant on if I would be able to get financing on the vehicle I test drove. After explaining what I could do on payments Aaron was able to make it happen, which he was very confident he could do from the beginning, which was nice to hear. Aaron definitely made me feel important and respected my decision for a vehicle. A little while later I met Lincoln, who was doing the financing. He was great, friendly, funny and gave me tips on working on my credit and even some tips for the vehicle I purchased. I explained my worries with Lincoln regarding dealerships handing out cars and then asking for them back, and that I wanted to make sure financing was secure. He assured me that he certainly didn't want to have to take the car back and if he had concerns he would let me know. After getting a soft approval that same day, he called me the next day to let me know he could get financing and was very friendly and reassuring with me. Although I'm still waiting on that all to finalize (and I do realize I'm being overly cautious about the whole financing) my experience with Edmond Hyundai so far has been nothing short of amazing and I'm incredibly surprised that they were able to get me into the car I wanted, not just any car on the lot. Everyone I worked with Shy, Aaron, and Lincoln made the entire process effortless and fun. They've definitely changed me perspective of car dealerships, so far, and I'm very thankful for everything they were able to do for me. More

So I thought I would give it a try. So I head up to Edmond Hyundai and I did not even get the chance to get out of my car before Aaron had already slithered his way to me. As I met Aaron, my first impression was alright but he did not even really introduce himself properly, i kind of just read his name tag, he seemed like he was just in it to get my money from the get go, I wanted to go see the Elantras. i tried to keep a calm demeanor because that is just the person I am. After awhile I really just wanted to speak to a manager because i was highly considering buying that day. Any time i wanted to speak to a manager he did everything but, and insisted that he basically had manager qualifications, instead of getting mad, I decided to take my business elsewhere, As I walked off the lot, I overheard one of the salesmen talking to their customer about dealerrater.com in which I decided to take my problem to this, instead of taking it up with a manager, I don't know if Aaron is really a manager but if he is DO NOT BUY FROM EDMOND HYUNDAI!!! Survey of buying experience I had a bad buying experience when buying a new car. The sales person and the finance person were dishonest and took advantage of the fact that I nee I had a bad buying experience when buying a new car. The sales person and the finance person were dishonest and took advantage of the fact that I needed a car right away and I had some credit issues. After the purchase, they instructed me to give them a 10 when I received a survey about my purchase. I felt like they should have thougth about what they could do to get a 10 during the buying experience instead of trying to guilt me into giving them a 10 at the end, so I gave them some honest feedback in hopes of improving their customer service. The day after I completed the survey, the sales rep called me yelling and cussing me out for giving them a less than favorable rating. This confirmed how unprofessional this dealership is. I haven't had any problems with the car yet, but I would recommend that you go to a different dealership if you are shopping for a Hyundai. More

Great Service I received an email stating they wanted me to trade up from my current vehicle. Being a mother that enjoys outings with the younger girls, I was somewhat restricted with both riding with me. I figured it wouldn't hurt to see what my options were. I told. Justin what I was interested in (Elantra) & he didn't try to sway me from my choice. Sunroof meant higher priced car so it wasn't as important. Test drove one & due to my budget, I went home with a new 2013 Elantra. Hugh counseled me on how to improve my credit score. I feel I got a really good deal & would greatly recommend them. More

Worst Car buying experience I went in on a Saturday to purchase a vehicle. My sales person was D. Reed whom was nice during the purchase of my vehicle. When it was time to visi I went in on a Saturday to purchase a vehicle. My sales person was D. Reed whom was nice during the purchase of my vehicle. When it was time to visit the finance department I worked with Lincoln Moore who was awesome. He made me feel like he wanted to help me with the best financing he could get me. I am very appreciative of Lincoln. However, before I left the lot I pointed out to Reed that one of the rims on the car was bent which I felt was a safety hazard. Reed told me he would have the service department to fix it when I brought it back in on the following Monday for them to change the tires. The dealership kept my car until Thursday. I returned to get my car and noticed the rim was moved from the front of the car to the back. Reed told me to he would set up something for me to come back on Monday, he never called me so I went to the dealership and Reed was not available so I spoke to Ladan whom was very nice and got a supervisor for me which I think he name was Hasan(not sure of spelling). He told me he would take care of it no later than Monday or Tuesday of the following week. I gave them until Friday to call but no call. I called Reed on Friday and asked if I could bring my car and he told me "no, not today". He then said he would call me back. I drove to the dealership anyway because I felt I was getting the run around. When I got there I spoke to Sammy who was also nice and helpful. I explained to him what happened and requested the rim be fixed, which he seen my concern and he came out to see the rim. He had me to wait while he made a phone call to verify if they had a rim. I asked him if they could just switch one from another car and he told me no, they couldn't do that. In the meantime I guess he told Phil why I was there and he came out of the office and made the comment "I don't take demands from people" like he was upset. I didn't want anything for free I just wanted the rim replaced. Sammy did tell me they found a rim and they were waiting on it to come to the store. He did offer me a loaner but when I spoke to Reed he said the rim was coming from Council Rd which was not that far from the lot so I waited. I was at the lot from 11:30-4:30 until they said they delivery person is in Norman waiting on another car and they didn't know when he would get there. By this time I was frustrated and I was talking to my fiance on the phone he asked to speak to Sammy which he only wanted to ask Sammy a question and I guess Sammy thought he was fussing. I told Lincoln that I was leaving and he asked if everything was taken care of and I told him the rim was not there yet. He went to talk to someone and in the meantime, Phil came in the office and told me he didn't have to fix the rim because it was a used car and it was sold as is and he wasn't going to change it if he couldn't get another rim from another place. I think that intimidated more because I wasn't wanting anything for free I just wanted a safety hazard fixed and I would be happy and because Reed nor Hasan had set up anything like they told me they would do. If they had set it up in the beginning all of the confusion would not have happened. Lincoln had me to speak with the parts manager Cheridan and she explained she would make sure the rim came in and set up an appointment for me the next day. I went that Saturday morning and spoke to Cheridan who seen the old rim was broken instantly as she walked up to the car pulled my car back and I was out in no time. That was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. Lincoln did offer to redeem the store which I appreciate. I do appreciate the ones that helped me finally get this resolved.
