GM doesn't honor there warranty I purchased my 2018 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ June of 2018. Brand new and I was inform that I had a 36,000 bumper to bumper warranty. With in 2,000 mile I purchased my 2018 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ June of 2018. Brand new and I was inform that I had a 36,000 bumper to bumper warranty. With in 2,000 miles my drivers lower seat custom developed a tear in the leather, I was asked by the service writer to wait and have it replaced closer to the end of my warranty and I did at 30,000 miles. The lower seat was replaced and with in 4,000 mile later it has a tear in the new one. I was told by 2 service writers that it was because I where blue jean and they are too rough on the seats. After the new seat bottom was installed I kept a towel over the cushion. If you see a Chevy commercial most of the people in the truck ads are wearing blue jeans! The service writer said GM would not replace it but only have it repair by a local upholstery shop. I suppose the warranty is up to GM discretion and I guess the driver seat is not in between the front and rear bumper! More
