Five months ago, we purchased a Chevrolet Equinox for our daughter from Edwards and Danny Mayo put together a deal that was unbelievable for her to meet her needs. My husband and I have driven Cadillac's for 30 years, and planned to purchase another Cadillac. However, after enjoying the comfort and options the Equinox had to offer, we elected to return to Edwards. My husband called Danny to inquire of their inventory, and as expected, Danny managed to beat any price we had found elsewhere. Not only did Edwards beat other prices, but Danny walked us step- by-step through the purchase process as if we were old friends. Kevin Liles -General Manager, offered us an outstanding trade-in on our car, and Bryant Baugher, Financial Manager, went out of his way to make sure we got the lowest financing available, and provided an opportunity for us to secure additional warranty. Both of these gentlemen called us by name, which made an impression on us, knowing they respected their returning customers. Together, along with Danny, they created for us the perfect deal, which Danny referred to as a "Ridiculous Deal". AND IT WAS !! Danny set up our Blue Tooth and On-Star on the Equinox for us before we left the dealership, and carefully went over each option to remind us how to use them. Once again, he stressed the safety features on the car and pointed out the memory seats and set them for us. It was 8 P.M. when we left the dealership on Halloween night, and each of these gentlemen stayed as the final papers were signed. As we pulled away from Edwards, our phone begin to ring. We answered it through the Blue Tooth in the car. It was Danny Mayo making sure it worked properly and to say he was our first caller. We are extremely satisfied customers and for someone who has driven Cadillac's for years, we are pleasantly enjoying our new Equinox LTZ 2013. Two cars in five months! Will we return to Edwards? We went to Edwards after viewing the web site. It was our good fortune that Danny Mayo happened to be the salesman who approached us to assist as we looked at the cars at the dealership. He was not pushy or aggressive in his approach to locate the perfect car. Danny was very knowledgable about the automobiles and took much time to show us how to use the features in each car we questioned him about. However, we felt we were not ready to buy that afternoon. Danny called us the next day to say thank you for stopping by Edwards, and to let us know he would be happy to assist us when we decided to purchase. After looking throughout Birmingham, and all the way to Decatur, we returned to Edwards on Hwy 280 to see Danny. We spent that afternoon with him, at the dealership, and purchased the prettiest red 2013 Equinox on the lot for our daughter. Danny went through every option on the car and carefully explained how to use it . He even assisted our daughter in setting up her On Star account, Blue tooth account and walked her through step by step operations of the vehicle and safety features. While going through the paperwork, Danny provided us with water and pepsi colas to drink, as it had been very hot walking around the dealership looking at the cars. He introduced us to the General Manager , who was extremely kind and the finance manager who assisted us in getting the lowest interest rate as we purchased the car. Overall, we had the most wonderful experience as we found the perfect car for our daughter, and in the process made a new friend with the gentleman who helped to make this possible .
