The old "car dealer" jokes to not apply to this dealership, they were the best! My husband and I were looking for a used Nissan Rogue and they had one with better options and price than any dearler dealership, they were the best! My husband and I were looking for a used Nissan Rogue and they had one with better options and price than any dearlership we had looked at including several Nissan dealerships. We ended up buying the car and since I am temporarily unable to drive, Marie volunteered to drive our old vehicle over 60 miles to our home while my husband and I drove home in our new car. Is that great customer service or what! There was no bait and switch, they shared all of the vehicle history and when we discovered that the navigation card was missing they quickly replaced it. We got a great car with a great price and excellent customer service. What more could anyone ask for? More

My family was looking for a larger car to accommodate our growing family, and we had many bad experience while looking for a car. We usually use El Cajon Mitsubishi for our service needs, and so we decided to browse their website and see if they had anything that we would be interested in. We saw a 2012 ford explorer limited and we knew that it was 'the one'. We were nervous and not very optimistic but decided we would call and get some information. I was told to submit an application online and they would call me back. I feared the worst. I got a call back in a VERY timely manner. And much to my surprise we were pre approved!!! We loaded up and went to El Cajon Mitsubishi where we were met by Serge. He was already in the parking lot waiting for us, and had the car we were interested in ready for us to look at. He gave us plenty of time to ask any questions we had and look at the car very well. He was helpful and not overbearing. We went for a test drive and he was so friendly with the kids in the backseat, talking to them and really making them feel like they were a part of the experience. He explained all of the features of the car to us in a way we could understand, and again answered our many questions. We brought the car back and decided that it was the one for us. We went inside and we were met by Joe to talk about financing options. He was extremely friendly and helpful. We never once felt pressured or like we were getting bullied into a decision. He made the process much less stressful with his honest answers and friendly demeanor. The entire time we were at this dealership the staff was extremely friendly to us and our children, and we felt right at home. We drove home our dream car and I could not be happier with the experience we had at El Cajon Mitsubishi. These are truly great people, and this is a nice family friendly place to buy a car. I purchased a 2013 Mitsu Evo MR from here and was easy process. Dealt with Mike Hayner and Joe as well as Chris Pozek. No bulls**t run around here. I had to wait extra time due to the funds being released for the amount that i was putting down and then they gave me a better deal than what i had originally had. Also have had my evo serviced here as well and Victor and Rosa are awesome. More
I’ve owned Mitsubishi’s for over a dozen years now (an Eclipse and 3 Evos), so I’ve had business with a lot of different dealerships. I finally found one which combines both great sales and dependable service. Think that deserves a review. El Cajon Mitsubishi is a pleasure to work with. When buying the last Evo, I did a lot of shopping around. I initially contacted El Cajon by email and a knowledgeable salesman immediately called back. We worked out the details over the phone and these didn’t change when I got to the dealership---the value of the trade-in was as expected too. I’ve had the new Evo serviced there twice—each time I knew what cost would be (with no surprises) and it was done when supposed to be, no waiting around more than expected. Last week El Cajon passed (and with flying colors) the ultimate test for a dealership—a manufacturer’s recall. Mitsubishi found a defect in the Master Cylinder and all late model Evos need to have it repaired at no cost to the owner. I contacted El Cajon and it all went smoothly. They had the parts on hand (no delay to order!!!) and customer service was easy about setting up a time to have it done. Couldn’t have been happier with the the whole experience. My favorite dealership for my favorite car! More
i bought a car from them and test drove it around the block and didnt think that i had to really get on the gas to find a problem. i trusted that when i bought the car from a dealer and they said it had block and didnt think that i had to really get on the gas to find a problem. i trusted that when i bought the car from a dealer and they said it had been thoroughly inspected that it had. WOW was i wrong a few days later i noticed the clutch was slipping when i went above 3k rpm i called them and told them and they said to bring it to a repair facility locally here in az so i did and they said it was the clutch and flywheel. when the dealer faxed them the estimate they then declined to pay like they originally said they would. not to mention reason i drove to california was for the car and a payment they promised me guaranteed and when i got there a whole different story. This is the WORST car buying experience i have ever had by far. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE More
I had all but given up on Mitsubishi until I spoke with Michael. I had been searching for a very specific Lancer EVO all over Southern California. I had purchased 3 Mitsubishi vehicles this year from South Michael. I had been searching for a very specific Lancer EVO all over Southern California. I had purchased 3 Mitsubishi vehicles this year from South Coast Mitsubishi and was extremely disappointed when they were giving me the run around on my 4th purchase. I hopped on the Mitsubishi dealer locator and called every single dealership. El Cajon was the very last place I called. Michael picked up and after giving him my criteria said he would call me back within 10 mins. To my surprise he called within 5 and very excitedly exclaimed he had located the EXACT car I wanted. I then made an appointment to drive 2.5hrs from Indio to El Cajon to sign docs. When I arrived there was no upselling, hard bargaining, or any type of shenanigans. It was the most painless car purchase I've ever experienced. Chris Pozek the Sales Manager really went above and beyond by having this car transferred all the way from Texas. After signing docs that day, I returned 1 week later to pick the car up. Total time I spent between both visits was no more than 45 mins. I would HIGHLY recommend El Cajon Mitsubishi to anyone; friends, family or a random stranger. More
