Worst dealership -Teat customers like beggars. Don't even try to look at elder ford unless you want to overthrow your money and get treated harshly by the staff. Here is my bad experience guys, g Don't even try to look at elder ford unless you want to overthrow your money and get treated harshly by the staff. Here is my bad experience guys, giving very brief, I beg you all do not even enter into the Elder Ford. I have been treated by the staff very harshly. I will keep writing reviews to make people aware at times; I want to save people before they get hurt and humiliated by Elder Ford of Tamp and its staff. I am new to America, not well aware of the car market, taking this as an advantage, they sold me a 3-year-old vehicle more than the price of a new 2019 car pretending that it is a right car and excellent deal. I traded in my well-conditioned vehicle to buy their defective car. Car Failures - They promised me that this vehicle would give 24 miles inside the city and 32 on the highway. This car is not even giving 18 MPG on the highway. Is it not cheating? If you question this, they will ask you to take another vehicle but you need to trade in this vehicle 10000 $ lesser than what you paid just 10 days back. Exhaust/Silencer smelling like gas. When you reach 80 mph, AC is giving a wire burning smell. There are many scratches on the car, until the first wash none are visible, not sure what chemicals are they using to cover the scratcher from the customers. The salesperson said that we can operate the car from mobile with a device installed in the vehicle, no such mechanism is plugged in. If I ask it now, they say the deal is done. There is no driver manual even, one of the keys is not working. Staff and their horrible attitude. - below are few, I will write more in my future reviews. When I visited today, they humiliated me like anything; One guy threatened me that if he sees us again in that center, it is an insult to him. The same guy threatened me he won't let any other staff member help us in that center. Once the deal is done, they won't pick up your phone calls. In the last 10 days, I have tried to reach these guys more than 20 times, they didn't answer even once. They will say lifetime warranty, bumper to bumper warranty, its all nonsense do not fall for those cheap tricks. They won't show these figures separately in the bill, because the warranty is not mandatory by law. When I asked this today, manager lied without any hesitation that there is no warranty discussed, and without my permission, he went and canceled the bumper to bumper warranty. My vehicle is still not completed 3 years, and it still got factory warranty covered for more than three months, they charged 2000 for engine warranty, 2000 for bumper to bumper, and they disclose this only at the end of signing the docs. They will play with your credit history like anything. Without disclosing to you, they will apply for a loan in multiple banks; you won't get to know this until you receive rejected letters via mail from the banks. My credit score got reduced from 750 to 721. When I went back and asked it politely, their true colors come out. They will push you out of the center. Today one woman customer said to me, "never bring you vehicles to this center for service" only that my friend and I can hear and laughed. Not only we both, everybody is getting treated the same way. Their people give all the google review with 5 *; no genuine customer does it. More

Now my cr Bought a used vehicle here about a week ago, had outside financing already approved, but they insisted that I complete a credit application. Now my credit/identity has been stolen. I regularly check my credit and have had zero issues in the past. Now all of a sudden I have credit cards being taken out in my name. Not an overall good experience. More

From price to the lifetime warranty and After shopping at other dealerships for a new F-150, Elder Ford was easy to deal with and had the best deal. From price to the lifetime warranty and service after the sale it was an easy new car purchased experience. The salesman Kamel Issa & Sales Manager Daniel Patregnmi made things easy. They made sure everything went smoothly and had great attitudes. Also have to thank Robert (Robo) Rivera. He was my first contact with Elder Ford a few months ago and his upbeat friendly manner made it great to stop by and test drive different trucks until I made up my mind about what I wanted. Never felt pressure from anyone at this dealership. Make things easy on yourself and stop by Elder Ford. More
Busted Brake Line I entered Elder Ford of Tampa under duress at 8 a.m. Thursday morning 6/27/19 leaking brake fluid on the passenger side of my truck. They let me kno I entered Elder Ford of Tampa under duress at 8 a.m. Thursday morning 6/27/19 leaking brake fluid on the passenger side of my truck. They let me know that they were able to get my truck in that day. They gave me a call later that day to let me know that it would need brake like replacement. I asked them to please complete the work and asked for a loaner vehicle. They were out of loaners and told me they would be in touch the following day. The following afternoon they let me know that the problem is more serious and that they do not have the parts. At that point it was Friday afternoon and after much complaint they had found me a loaner with the information that the parts would arrive Saturday and they would do their best to complete the service. Saturday afternoon I receive the call to let me know that the part they ordered is incorrect and that they will not be able to address my issue until next week. My vehicle sat at the dealership all day Thursday and was not looked at or I would assume that if they had put it on the lift and taken a good look at it they would have been able to address the issue correctly and order the correct parts. I have lost money on uber rides to work and have lost the money on the vacation that I was supposed to be on Saturday. The entire time I have been treated as if the dealership is doing me a favor by addressing the issue, doing me a favor by working diligently on it, and doing me a favor by finding me a loaner vehicle. At what point do we get treated like the paying customer that we are? This is not an inexpensive issue that I am dealing with. What saddens me is the imbalance of power that transpires when you are in a desperate situation of not being able to drive your vehicle and being at the mercy of technicians and "customer service professionals" to help to address your issues. This should be the moment that a dealership should shine. This is when the human side of sales and service should really be taken into consideration and this is when earning 5 star reviews should happen. Treating another human the way that you would want to be treated in a stressful situation should be a fundamental right. Honestly assessing your work load and being upfront with your customer should be an automatic thing to do. Worse still is the feeling you have as a woman put in a situation that you may have no knowledge about and depend upon the honesty and expertise of strangers. Luckily I have someone in my life with vehicle knowledge but I tip my hat to those that do now. I would not recommend this service department/dealership. This was an interaction with a customer that could have been capitalized on and made great. Instead it was an opportunity that was taken advantage of and soured. More

He seemed to try to work to the best of his ability to get me in the car I wanted. The manager was very nice and even the receptionist was very welcoming. The problem I ran into at this dealer as a first time customer here is that the finance person was not honoring anything that was agreed on between my salesman, his manager, and me. He was very pushy which is definitely something I didn’t experience from my salesman Ricardo. The finance person made my experience very uncomfortable and frustrating. If it wasn’t for this terrible finance experience I would give this dealership 5 stars. My rating for my salesman Ricardo Romero is 5 stars. More

Daniel told her cabin and engine filter plus tire rotation was needed. Even though it was done only 3 months ago at Bill Currie. A bill of $123 was waiting for her when she picked up the car 3 hours later. When i confronted him he laughed at the fact that my mom didn't know that the cabin and engine filter were not the oil filter. When I confronted him and asked him why he didnt let her know the price difference, he froze. I spoke with his manager and he said to take the car back to the shop and just put the old ones back on. Keep in mind it took them over 2 hours to do the original job back. This is exactly the reason we do not allow a woman to get car services alone because of snakes like Daniel who take advantage of the situation. We will NEVER step foot at Elder Ford again. More
