Respected my budget, met my needs as a first time buyer I am 25 years old and this is my first time buying a car on my own. I have been saving for a long time and finally was able to pull out 6500 in cash. I am 25 years old and this is my first time buying a car on my own. I have been saving for a long time and finally was able to pull out 6500 in cash. I went to elder Ford to look at a 2010 Ford focus with only 34k miles on it, perfect first car, not too flashy but had everything I needed. The online price was 7,800 plus tax, tag, title, dealer, and recondition fee. With only 6500 in cash, I went in to haggle. They couldn't meet me at 6500 out the door (because that is realistically too low with all the maintenance and fees they have to pay) but they brought down their initial out the door price from 11,995 to 8,200 out the door. A great price for only 34k miles, lifetime warranty and car washes, and a car within this decade that looked brand new. They we're kind to me, funny and personable. They threw in some new floor mats and filled up the tank for me also. More
