After obtaining the best quotes we drove to Elder Ford to see if they could match or beat the best quote we had. Not only did they beat the other dealers offers but the service and professional sales approach of Bill Geiger , Geoff Patterson and Jason harrison was outstanding. We drove away in our new Ford truck that night with all our paperwork in order and a full tank of fuel as a bonus for the trip home. Its nice to know that a local dealer within an hour of us can not only be best in price but also in service and honesty. Very nice and personable experience. Back in April I bought a 2005 mustang gt. The car was in almost like new condition. After driving it for 4 months now the car still runs excellent. I was looking for a mustang gt for awhile but could not find a fair priced one. When I saw my mustang on autotrader for 12500 I immediately called up and talked to Ed about the car and my financing since it wasn't so great. He did everything he could to get me financed. At the end of the day I go a 5 year loan at 6.99%. I couldn't believe that I got such a good rate. So 4 months later the car runs great and I could be happier. Thanks ed michaels. More

He was able to get my interest rate request in conjunction with Joe Combs, the finance manager. Joe was very friendly and knowledgable. Also, Jeff Godsell, the sales consultant, made me feel welcome and was very kind. He also made me feel comfortable during the whole process. I definitely recommend the Elder Ford dealership for your next purchase. This is why I have been a faithful costumer for the last 15 years, and I have bought, so far, 8 cars, and I am looking forward to many more! More
Good dealer, good sales guys, NIGHTMARE of a sales manager I would recommend this dealer as my experience with the sales rep was pleasant. I was starting my car buying process and was not ready nor intending I would recommend this dealer as my experience with the sales rep was pleasant. I was starting my car buying process and was not ready nor intending to purchase, only research. Once I was done with a test drive and we looked through inventory I recognized they didn't have the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted and There was no way of finding a middle ground. In comes "the closer"... I mean manager, Chris Hall. Chris started off friendly, repeating everything the sales rep and I discussed. Once he realized I wasn't willing to buy for the price they were selling and I had months before I actually intended to purchase he became abrasive and used very hard selling techniques. I felt bullied, I felt insulted, I felt like walking away from the desk and finding the GM to tell him/her that Chris is the absolute sole reason that I will never buy from Elder. If he was a GOOD salesman he would have recognized early that I was not buying and helped me establish a good rapport with him, make me feel like family, ask open ended questions about my intent to buy then say something like "when your ready to buy, please come see me, I want to make sure you buy from us." Instead of planting a seed for a future sale and relationship he badgered me with aggressive sales techniques that we're insulting. If and that's IF I ever go back and IF I actually buy from Elder (which is actually a good dealer) I will specifically request that Chris receive no credit, commission, or notation for the purchase of the vehicle I buy. If you look forward to being beat up, pushed around, insulted and bullied... You're ganna love Chris. If you look forward to an open relationship with a sales manager who wants to HELP you whether it's today or months from now and you see Chris walk to the desk your sitting at... walk out the door. Dennis Russ took me into the service department and pointed at my tires and said that my car was not safe. I didn't know what I was looking at so I took his word for it. At the time I was broke as I had just spent all my money on Christmas so I drove my car home and parked it. For the next few months I took a cab several times a day while I saved up the money. Then I was reading the newspaper and seen another Ford dealer was offering a discount for any repairs done so I took it to them so they could do all the repairs that Elder Ford said I needed. After dropping my car off they called me and told me I needed to come back. When I arrived they took me back to my car. They had taken it apart and told me that there is nothing wrong with my car or my brakes. I was shocked and could not believe Dennis Russ tried to take advantage of a women like that. I am so upset just thinking of all the money I wasted on taxis. I wish I had read these reviews earlier as it would have saved me countless amounts of money. More
